Timber And Stone Armor

Quickstart

1. Open a Crafting Table — all eight recipes are automatically unlocked when you join a world.
2. Craft any piece of Oak Plank Armor using Oak Planks, or Stone Armor using plain Stone.
3. Equip the pieces in your armor slots and head into combat.

Both sets are also available directly in the Combat creative tab for quick testing.

Overview

Timber And Stone Armor adds two early-game armor sets built from the most common materials you gather in your first hours of play — wood planks and stone. The oak plank set offers leather-equivalent protection, while the stone set steps up to chainmail-equivalent stats, giving you a natural progression between fists and iron.

What It Adds

Each set includes four pieces: Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots.

Crafting And Obtaining

All recipes are unlocked automatically the first time you join a world, so they appear in your recipe book right away.

• Durability: Leather-tier (durability multiplier ×5)
• Enchantability: 15 (same as leather — good for enchanting)
• Toughness & Knockback Resistance: None
• Repair item: Oak Planks

Stone Armor

• Protection: 2 (boots) / 5 (leggings) / 4 (chestplate) / 1 (helmet) armor points
• Durability: Chainmail-tier (durability multiplier ×15)
• Enchantability: 12
• Toughness & Knockback Resistance: None
• Repair item: Stone

Both sets display unique inventory icons and worn-on-player textures themed to their respective materials.

Progression And Strategy

• Oak Plank Armor is ideal for the very start of a world — you need only a handful of logs to kit yourself out before you have any tools or a mine.
• Stone Armor is a meaningful step up once you've dug your first cave. Stone is abundant and the chainmail-equivalent stats will carry you comfortably until you can smelt iron.
• Because the oak plank set has a high enchantability of 15, it can be worth enchanting early for a cheap protection boost before upgrading.
• Both sets can be repaired at an Anvil using their respective crafting materials, keeping maintenance costs low.
