The Holy Bible

Quickstart

1. Obtain The Holy Bible from the Functional Blocks section of the Creative inventory, craft it, or use: /give @s the-holy-bible-kqc34lus:the_holy_bible_kqc34lus
2. Hold it in either hand.
3. Use the item to open its book screen.
4. Turn the pages to browse the Old Testament and New Testament directories, followed by two selected verse readings from every listed book.
5. Using the Bible grants a brief blessing of Resistance and Regeneration.

The item is reusable and is not consumed when opened.

Overview

The Holy Bible is a readable written book containing a Christian Bible directory and selected sacred passages. Its pages are arranged in this order:

• Table of contents
• Old Testament directory
• New Testament directory
• Two readings for each Old Testament book
• Two readings for each New Testament book

Longer readings continue onto additional pages. Browse the book sequentially with the previous- and next-page controls.

What It Adds

The mod adds one item:

• The Holy Bible — A single-stack readable book containing:
  • All 39 Old Testament book names
  • All 27 New Testament book names
  • Two verse readings for each book

The Bible also counts as a bookshelf book for Minecraft bookshelf-related mechanics.

How To Use

Hold The Holy Bible in your main hand or offhand and use it.

• The written-book interface opens for reading.
• Use the page controls to move through the directories and readings.
• Close the book screen to return to the world.
• Using the item again grants its blessing again.
• The book remains in your inventory after use.

For an immediate reading, try the passages for Genesis, Psalms, Matthew, or John.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipe becomes available after entering a world. Craft The Holy Bible by placing leather, a book, and a gold ingot vertically in a crafting grid:

Abilities And Mechanics

Brief Blessing

Using The Holy Bible grants:

• Resistance I for 5 seconds
• Regeneration I for 5 seconds

The blessing activates when the book is used, even though the book interface opens at the same time.

Holy Particles

While The Holy Bible is held in either hand, small rising golden particles appear around the player. The particles are visual only and do not cause damage or alter the surrounding world.

Progression And Strategy

The Holy Bible has no unlock chain or upgrade path. Craft or obtain one early, then keep it available for both reading and its short defensive blessing.

For a quick emergency boost, use the book before entering a dangerous area. The five-second duration is brief, so time the use for the start of combat, exploration, or another hazardous moment.
