Swiftite Rifts

Quickstart

1. At night, look around the Overworld for floating Swift Asteroids made of Swiftslate. They may have Swiftite Crystal Blocks and Swiftwood trees. Asteroids disappear during the day, so gather what you need before sunrise.
2. Find and break a Swift Rift to collect 5 Swiftite Crystals.
3. Craft a Swiftite Ingot. It takes 5 Swiftite Crystals, 3 Amethyst Shards, and 1 Netherite Ingot.

1. Use Swiftite Ingots to craft gear. To try the throwable Swiftite Spear, craft the spear and keep Swiftite Spear Ammo in your inventory or offhand. Use the spear to throw it.
2. Equip all four Swiftite armor pieces to gain Speed and Haste. A full set provides 28 defense.

Overview

Swiftite Rifts centers on gathering Swiftite from rifts and temporary nighttime formations. It also includes Swiftwood trees and a set of Swiftwood equipment. Swiftite gear offers powerful armor and tools, including a pickaxe that can collect Reinforced Deepslate.

What It Adds

• Swift Rifts that drop Swiftite Crystals.
• Swift Asteroids: temporary, floating Swiftslate formations that appear at night in the Overworld. They can contain Swiftite Crystal Blocks and Swiftwood trees.
• Swiftite equipment: a sword, axe, pickaxe, shovel, hoe, spear, and four armor pieces.
• Swiftwood equipment: a sword, axe, pickaxe, shovel, hoe, and four armor pieces.
• Swiftite Block and Swiftite Crystal Block for storing materials.

How To Use

Swiftite Spear

The Swiftite Spear is a ranged weapon. Keep Swiftite Spear Ammo in your inventory or offhand, then use the spear to throw it. A hit inflicts Poison for 6 seconds and Slowness for 5 seconds.

Swiftite Pickaxe

Use the Swiftite Pickaxe on Reinforced Deepslate to break it and collect the block.

Armor sets

Worn Swiftite armor is recovered after death, so it is not lost when you die, including in the void.

Swiftwood trees

Swiftwood trees can grow on Swift Asteroids. Use a Stone Axe, Iron Axe, Diamond Axe, Netherite Axe, or Swiftite Axe to break their logs. Swift Logs craft into 4 Swiftwood Planks.

Crafting And Obtaining

Swiftite

Swift Rifts drop 5 Swiftite Crystals when broken. Swiftite Crystal Blocks can also appear on Swift Asteroids; breaking one yields 3 crystals.

You can also combine a Netherite item with 4 Swiftite Ingots to make the corresponding Swiftite item:

• Sword , axe , pickaxe , shovel , or hoe
• Helmet , chestplate , leggings , or boots

Swiftwood

Swift Logs craft into Swiftwood Planks. Use the planks to make a full set of tools and armor.

Storage blocks

Craft a Swiftite Block from 9 Swiftite Ingots , or a Swiftite Crystal Block from 9 Swiftite Crystals . Breaking a Swiftite Block yields 9 Ingots.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Swift Asteroids appear at night and dissolve during the day. Search their Swiftslate platforms for crystal blocks and Swiftwood trees.
• A complete Swiftite armor set grants Speed and Haste; individual pieces do not provide those set effects.
• A complete Swiftwood armor set grants increased jump height.
• The Swiftite Spear uses crafted ammunition and applies Poison and Slowness when it hits an entity.

Progression And Strategy

Collect crystals from Swift Rifts and Asteroids, and gather Amethyst Shards and Netherite Ingots for Swiftite Ingots. Prioritize the Swiftite Pickaxe if you want to collect Reinforced Deepslate. When exploring at night, gather Swiftwood and any crystal blocks you find before the asteroid disappears.
