Riftweaver Emberblade

Quickstart

1. Craft the Emberblade and some ammo at a crafting table using the recipes below.
2. Put the ammo in your inventory and hold the Emberblade.
3. Use the Emberblade to launch a projectile, or attack at close range to strike with the blade and trigger its fiery burst.

For a quick test, use /give @s com_riftweaver_emberblade_fvmyuhi5:my_sword 1 and /give @s com_riftweaver_emberblade_fvmyuhi5:ammo 16.

Overview

The Riftweaver Emberblade is a rare, durable katana that works both as a melee weapon and as a launcher for its own ammunition.

What It Adds

• Riftweaver Emberblade: A one-handed sword with 900 durability and 7 attack damage. It can also fire projectiles when you have ammo.
• Riftweaver Emberblade Ammo: Stackable ammunition for the Emberblade.

How To Use

• Melee: Attack a target with the Emberblade. A hit creates a magma burst around the struck target.
• Ranged: Keep ammo in your inventory, point toward a target, and use the Emberblade to fire. A projectile hit deals 3–5 damage and knocks its target back.
• The melee burst deals 4 fire damage and sets nearby living targets within 3.5 blocks on fire for 3 seconds. It can catch nearby allies as well as enemies, so take care in a crowd.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft both items at a crafting table. The Emberblade recipe is shapeless; the ammo recipe uses iron above copper and yields 16 ammo.

Abilities And Mechanics

The Emberblade’s melee hit triggers its burst around the target, damaging and igniting nearby living entities. The attacker is excluded from the burst. The ranged projectile deals impact damage and knockback, but does not trigger the melee burst.
