Raincaller Wand

Quickstart

• The wand’s crafting recipe unlocks when you join. Craft one using the recipe below, or find it in the Combat section of the Creative inventory.
• During rain, hold the wand in either hand to fly. Use Minecraft’s normal flight controls: double-tap jump to start or stop flying, jump to rise, and crouch to descend.
• While it’s raining, use the wand (right-click by default) to fire a water shot at whatever you’re aiming at.

Overview

The Raincaller Wand is a rain-powered tool for flight and ranged combat. Both abilities require rain in your current world.

What It Adds

• Rain-powered flight: Holding the wand in your main hand or off-hand grants flight while it’s raining. This applies to non-Creative, non-Spectator players.
• Water shots: The wand throws a splash-producing projectile that can damage living targets.

How To Use

Hold the wand in either hand while it’s raining to fly. If the rain stops or you put the wand away, the wand-granted flight ends; land before that happens.

Use the wand while it’s raining to throw a water shot. It has a one-second cooldown and can’t be fired when it isn’t raining.

Crafting And Obtaining

The wand is non-stackable. Its recipe uses prismarine materials, a Heart of the Sea, and a stick:

Abilities And Mechanics

A water shot deals 5 damage to a living target other than its thrower. On collision, it creates a splash effect; it does not change blocks.

Progression And Strategy

The recipe’s Heart of the Sea is the key ingredient to obtain. For safe travel, keep the wand in hand during rain and plan to land before the weather clears.
