Black Centurion Armor

Quickstart

Find the four armor pieces in the Creative inventory’s Combat tab, or craft them using the recipes below. Equip the helmet to try its blink, scan, and flight controls; wear all four pieces to unlock vanish and the full-set bonuses.

With the helmet equipped, press C to blink, X to scan, or F to toggle flight. With the full set equipped, press V to toggle invisibility. Controls can be changed in Minecraft’s Controls menu under Black Centurion.

Overview

Black Centurion is a Netherite-based armor set with mobility and scouting abilities. The helmet enables several abilities on its own, while wearing the helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots together grants additional powers.

What It Adds

The set also provides a heads-up display while you wear the helmet, showing your heading, coordinates, ability keys, and scanned target details.

How To Use

Default controls:

• Blink: Moves you up to about 7 blocks in the direction you’re looking. Solid blocks can limit the distance. A successful blink has a 2-second cooldown.
• Scan: Starts a brief scan when a living entity is within 24 blocks. Aim your crosshair at a living target during the scan to see its name and distance.
• Flight: Press F to toggle flight while wearing the helmet. With the full set, double-tap Jump while airborne to toggle it instead. Removing the helmet ends the granted flight.
• Recall: Press R to equip nearby dropped Black Centurion pieces. If there are none nearby, it removes the Black Centurion pieces you are wearing and stows them in your inventory, dropping any that do not fit.

Crafting And Obtaining

The helmet and boots are crafted in a crafting grid. The chestplate and leggings are made at a smithing table using a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template, the matching Netherite armor piece, and an Echo Shard.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Wearing all four pieces maintains Speed I and Night Vision.
• The full set lets you toggle invisibility with V. Press V again to turn it off.
• Each armor piece carries Protection IV and Unbreaking 255.
• The helmet’s scan is aimed rather than a list of nearby entities: it shows details when your crosshair is on a living target within range.

Progression And Strategy

Start with the helmet if you want to test the mobility and scouting abilities right away. Complete the set for Speed, Night Vision, invisibility, and airborne double-tap flight. Blink toward open space to make the most of its short-range movement.
