Orbital Barrage Remote

Quickstart

1. Make sure you are in Creative Mode.
2. Give yourself the Orbital Remote from the creative inventory (search "Orbital Remote") or run: /give @s com_orbital_barrage_remote_c6knbf6z:orbital_remote
3. Give yourself the required permission tag: /tag @s add TnT_admin
4. Hold the Orbital Remote and use/right-click it.
5. Look up — 540 primed TNT will rain down from above in a spiralling disk formation. Take cover (or don't).

Overview

The Orbital Barrage Remote is a single creative-mode item that lets an authorised player call down a massive TNT strike on their current position. It is designed as a dramatic spectacle: hundreds of explosives materialise in a wide circular formation overhead and fall in a cascading barrage, producing a screen-filling chain of explosions. Because of the sheer destructive scale, the item is gated behind a player tag so only designated users can trigger it.

How To Use

Obtaining the Remote

The Orbital Remote cannot be crafted. Pick it up from the Items tab of the creative inventory, or give it to any player with: /give <player> com_orbital_barrage_remote_c6knbf6z:orbital_remote

Granting Permission

Only players who carry the TnT_admin tag can fire the Remote. Without it, using the item shows a warning message and nothing happens. Grant the tag with: /tag <player> add TnT_admin

To revoke access later: /tag <player> remove TnT_admin

Triggering the Barrage

With the tag applied, simply use the Orbital Remote (right-click on Java-style controls, or tap the Use Item button on touch/controller). The moment you activate it, you will receive a red chat confirmation message and the barrage begins immediately — no further input is needed.

Abilities And Mechanics

The Formation

• 540 primed TNT entities are spawned in a filled spiral disk centred directly above you.
• The formation is arranged in 6 layers of 90 TNT each, spread across a ~14-block radius.
• The lowest layer begins roughly 26 blocks above your feet; higher layers are stacked above that with ~1.25 blocks of vertical spacing between them.

Motion and Detonation

Each TNT is given a small outward and downward impulse the moment it spawns — TNT closer to the edge drifts outward faster while all units fall toward the ground. Because the TNT is already primed when spawned, explosions begin as soon as the first pieces land. The staggered spiral placement means detonations roll outward from your position in a wave rather than all hitting at once.

Access Control

The permission check happens on every single use. If the TnT_admin tag is removed while a player is holding the Remote, future uses will be blocked immediately. There is no cooldown built into the item beyond the natural fuse time of the TNT itself.

Progression And Strategy

Because this item is creative-only and purely spectacle-focused, "strategy" is mostly about staging a good show:

• Choose open terrain. Firing the barrage in an enclosed space or near builds you care about will destroy them completely. Flat, open worlds or superflat testing worlds are ideal.
• Stand back. Even in Creative Mode the visual chaos is intense. Moving away from ground zero after firing gives a better view of the cascading explosions.
• Control who holds it. Only give the TnT_admin tag to players you trust. A single use produces 540 simultaneous explosion chains that can significantly affect world terrain and server performance on older hardware.
• One Remote, one operator. The item has a max stack size of 1, so each authorised player should carry one copy. Multiple operators can fire simultaneously if needed for coordinated displays.
