Netherstorm Bow

Quickstart

1. Obtain the bow from the Creative inventory under Equipment, or give it to yourself with:

   /give @s com_netherstorm_bow_yrvhucxo:my_sword 1
   

2. Equip the Netherstorm Bow in your main hand.
3. Aim at a block or mob and use the bow. It immediately launches an explosive arrow; no regular arrows are required.
4. Let the arrow hit its target. It detonates on impact, creating a powerful explosion that breaks blocks but does not cause fire.

Overview

The Netherstorm Bow is a powerful ranged weapon that fires an endless supply of explosive arrows. Every shot creates its own arrow, so ammunition is never consumed.

The bow is unbreakable, has a bow-style use animation, and can be enchanted as a bow.

What It Adds

• Netherstorm Bow — A ranged weapon that launches explosive arrows.
• Explosive arrows — Automatically created when the bow is used.
• Impact explosions — Arrows detonate when they hit a mob or block.
• Block destruction — Explosions break blocks within their blast radius.

How To Use

Equip the Netherstorm Bow and press the normal use button while aiming.

• Aim at a mob to detonate the arrow when it hits the mob.
• Aim at the ground, a wall, or another block to create an impact explosion.
• Fire from a safe distance, since the explosion can damage the surrounding area and destroy blocks.
• Use open terrain or a prepared arena when testing the bow to avoid damaging important builds.

Each use fires an explosive arrow in the direction you are looking. The bow does not need to be reloaded and does not consume arrows.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Netherstorm Bow is crafted at a crafting table. Its recipe uses:

• 2 Netherite Ingots
• 1 TNT
• 1 Bow
• 1 Ghast Tear
• 3 Sticks

Abilities And Mechanics

Explosive Arrow

The bow creates and launches a special arrow whenever it is used. The arrow travels forward from the player and detonates when it hits an entity or block.

Impact Explosion

The explosion has a radius of 3 blocks. It:

• Damages nearby mobs and players.
• Breaks blocks in the affected area.
• Does not create fire.

The explosive arrow disappears when it detonates.

Durability And Enchanting

The Netherstorm Bow has extremely high durability and does not take durability damage from use, making it effectively unbreakable. It uses the bow enchantment category, so compatible bow enchantments can be applied through normal Minecraft enchanting methods.

Progression And Strategy

Craft the bow after gathering Netherite, TNT, a Ghast Tear, and a standard Bow. Once equipped, it is especially useful for:

• Clearing groups of hostile mobs.
• Attacking targets behind or near blocks.
• Mining out small areas with controlled blasts.
• Defending a base or arena from a distance.
• Fighting bosses or large mobs where direct explosive hits are practical.

Always check your surroundings before firing. The blast destroys terrain and structures, and enemies close to the impact can be caught in the explosion.
