Netherite Worldbreaker

Quickstart

1. Get a Worldbreaker from the Creative inventory or craft one at a crafting table.
2. Place the tool in your hotbar and hold it.
3. Break a block that the tool can mine.
4. The Worldbreaker breaks a 10×10×10 cube centered as closely as possible on the targeted block. The targeted block is included, and the cube extends five blocks in the negative directions and four blocks in the positive directions.
5. Collect the normal drops from the blocks it destroys.

Use it in an open area first—the cube can remove blocks above, below, and beside your target.

Overview

Netherite Worldbreaker adds seven pickaxe-style tools that excavate large areas at once. Every Worldbreaker has the special Worldbreaker mining effect, which activates when you mine a block with it.

The tools are single-item equipment and cannot be stacked. Their mining speed, durability, attack damage, and repair material depend on the tool tier.

What It Adds

All variants are treated as pickaxes for enchantment purposes and can be repaired with their listed material.

How To Use

Hold a Worldbreaker and mine a block normally. The tool then destroys the surrounding 10×10×10 area in the same dimension.

• The cube includes the block you targeted.
• The excavation is centered as closely as possible on that block.
• The effect works in the Overworld, Nether, and End.
• Blocks destroyed by the excavation use normal destruction behavior, so their usual drops are preserved.
• Only use it where you are prepared to remove a large volume of blocks.
• Mining near the ground, walls, structures, or valuable storage areas can destroy blocks you intended to keep.

The Worldbreakers are designed for pickaxe-mineable blocks. The Netherite Worldbreaker also has additional mining support for common stone, ore, Nether, End, clay, and similar blocks, while dirt, sand, and gravel mine more slowly.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft every Worldbreaker at a crafting table by placing the listed pickaxe above its matching material.

Wooden Worldbreaker

Uses a wooden pickaxe and an oak plank.

Stone Worldbreaker

Uses a stone pickaxe and cobblestone.

Iron Worldbreaker

Uses an iron pickaxe and an iron ingot.

Golden Worldbreaker

Uses a golden pickaxe and a gold ingot.

Diamond Worldbreaker

Uses a diamond pickaxe and a diamond.

Netherite Worldbreaker

Uses a diamond pickaxe and a netherite ingot.

Netherite Worldbreaker Pickaxe

Uses a netherite pickaxe and a netherite ingot.

Abilities And Mechanics

Area mining

Each successful mining action triggers a 10×10×10 excavation around the target. The effect is not a narrow tunnel or a flat vein miner—it removes a full three-dimensional cube.

Mining performance

The Golden Worldbreaker has the highest listed mining speed, but the lowest durability. The Netherite Worldbreaker Pickaxe combines the highest listed durability with a mining speed of 10 and attack damage of 6.

The Netherite Worldbreaker has the same durability as the Netherite Worldbreaker Pickaxe but a mining speed of 8 and attack damage of 5.

Enchanting and repairing

Worldbreakers use the pickaxe enchantment category. Repair them using their matching material:

• Wooden Worldbreaker: oak planks
• Stone Worldbreaker: cobblestone
• Iron Worldbreaker: iron ingots
• Golden Worldbreaker: gold ingots
• Diamond Worldbreaker: diamonds
• Netherite Worldbreaker: netherite ingots
• Netherite Worldbreaker Pickaxe: netherite ingots

Progression And Strategy

• Start with the Wooden or Stone Worldbreaker when clearing early mines or large amounts of stone.
• Use the Iron or Diamond version for more durable general excavation.
• Choose the Golden Worldbreaker when speed matters more than durability.
• Save the Netherite versions for major excavation projects and large-scale quarrying.
• Keep valuable blocks, chests, farms, and builds well away from the block you intend to mine.
• Before mining underground, check the area above and below your target so the cube does not open unwanted lava pockets or damage rooms.
• Carry extra storage: a single excavation can produce a large amount of blocks and drops.
