Netherite Lungeblade
Quickstart
Craft the blade at a smithing table using a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template, a diamond sword, and a netherite ingot. Equip it in either hand, then right-click to lunge in the direction you’re looking. Try it on open ground first to get a feel for the forward burst and slight lift.
Overview
The Netherite Lungeblade is a netherite sword with a movement ability. It can be used for ordinary melee attacks as well as for closing distance or repositioning with a lunge.
How To Use
- Lunge: Right-click while holding the blade. Your view direction steers the burst; looking upward also sends you upward.
- Cooldown: The lunge has a 30-tick cooldown (about 1.5 seconds). Right-click again after it finishes.
- Melee: Attack normally with the sword.
Crafting And Obtaining
Use a smithing table to upgrade a diamond sword with a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template and a netherite ingot:
The blade is also available in the Combat section of the Creative inventory.
Abilities And Mechanics
The blade has a persistent glint and displays the tooltip “Lunge I: propel yourself forward.” The lunge adds forward momentum and a small upward push, so leave room to maneuver near cliffs or obstacles.
Progression And Strategy
Use the lunge to close gaps, cross short distances, or retreat from danger. Aim before activating it, and account for the cooldown before relying on another burst.

This Java mod can be used on Windows and Mac PCs with the CreativeMode Launcher or any Minecraft launcher of your choice.
