Quickstart

Craft an Alliance Beacon at a crafting table:

Bring armor and food, then use the beacon in an open area. It starts a three-wave fight around you. Defeat all three waves to earn 4 Reactor Shards. Stay within 64 blocks of where you started, and finish within three minutes—or the trial fails.

For a quick equipment test in Creative, take an Arc Repulsor and its magazine from the inventory. Use the Arc Repulsor to fire a beam at the target you’re aiming at.

Overview

Avengers Assemble brings superhero-themed armor, weapons, a timed combat trial, and city landmarks to Minecraft. Reactor Shards from successful trials are used in several armor and item recipes.

What It Adds

• Alliance Trial: Three waves of hostile mobs, started with an Alliance Beacon.
• Hero equipment: Ant-Man, Iron Spider, Captain America, and Starkforge armor, plus Captain America’s Shield and the Arc Repulsor.
• Alliance landmarks: An Alliance Tower, secure warehouse, modern neighborhood, and Art Deco skyscraper appear near the initial Overworld spawn.

How To Use

• Alliance Beacon: Use it to start a trial at your location. Enemies appear around you, so choose a spot with room to fight.
• Arc Repulsor: Aim at a target and use the weapon to fire one beam. Use it again for another shot. Arc Repulsor Magazines are its designated ammunition.
• Captain America’s Shield: Use the shield to throw it.
• Ant-Man Helmet: Use the helmet to cycle through miniature, giant, and normal size.
• Iron Suit Flight Controller: Use it to toggle flight on or off. With the full Starkforge suit equipped and flight enabled, hold Jump to rise or Sneak to descend.
• Alliance Serum: Use it to drink the serum and gain Strength and Speed for 18 seconds and Regeneration for 8 seconds.

Trial and supplies

A completed Alliance Trial awards 4 Reactor Shards. Use them to craft serum and several armor sets.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Wearing the full Iron Spider suit grants Speed and Jump Boost.
• Flight requires both the full Starkforge suit and an enabled Iron Suit Flight Controller. When flight is enabled, Jump makes you rise; Sneak makes you descend.
• The Ant-Man Helmet cycles your size between normal, miniature, and giant forms.
• Drinking an Alliance Serum grants Strength I and Speed I for 18 seconds, plus Regeneration I for 8 seconds.

Progression And Strategy

The Alliance Trial’s waves grow tougher:

1. Zombies and skeletons.
2. Husks, zombies, and skeletons.
3. Husks, skeletons, a vindicator, and a zombie.

The trial ends if you die, leave the 64-block arena, or run out of time. Prepare before using the beacon; winning earns four Reactor Shards for crafting more gear and supplies.
