Mending Welcome Kit

Quickstart

1. Add the mod to a world and enter it.
2. On your first spawn in a new world, you receive 10 Mending enchanted books automatically.
3. Check your inventory for the books. A welcome message confirms the reward.
4. Use an anvil to apply Mending to compatible armor, tools, or weapons.
5. Gain experience while wearing or holding a Mending-equipped item to repair it.

The kit is granted once per player. It does not require crafting, commands, or a special interaction.

Overview

Mending Welcome Kit gives each player a one-time supply of 10 Mending I enchanted books. The books are regular enchanted books that can be used through normal Minecraft anvil mechanics.

What It Adds

• 10 Mending I enchanted books per player
• Automatic delivery when:
  • You first spawn in a newly created world with the mod active
  • The mod is added while players are already in the world
  • The world loads while eligible players are online
• A welcome message confirming the reward

How To Use

Apply Mending

Place a damaged compatible item and a Mending enchanted book in an anvil. Take the resulting item to give it the Mending enchantment.

Repair Mending Items

Keep a Mending-equipped item worn or selected while collecting experience orbs. Experience repairs the item instead of being used entirely for your experience level, provided the item needs durability repair.

You can use the books on suitable armor, tools, and weapons. Mending books are consumed when successfully applied.

Crafting And Obtaining

There is no recipe for the kit. The 10 books are delivered automatically by the mod.

The reward is tied to each player and can only be claimed once. Rejoining the world does not provide another set.

If your inventory is full when the kit is delivered, books that do not fit appear near your character instead of being lost. Pick them up before leaving the area.

• Each reward contains exactly 10 Mending I enchanted books.
• The books are delivered directly to the player’s inventory whenever possible.
• Undeliverable books are dropped at the player’s location.
• The reward remains a single-use welcome kit for each player.
• There are no new blocks, entities, controls, or activation items to manage.

Progression And Strategy

Use the books early on valuable gear that you expect to keep for a long time. Consider saving several for high-durability tools, weapons, or armor, and keep spare books in a secure chest until you are ready to use them.
