Quickstart

1. Craft Krull at a crafting table using the recipe below.
2. Hold Krull in your hand.
3. Press Use (right-click / tap / controller trigger) to launch the flying disc.
4. Watch it hunt down nearby monsters automatically — then catch it when it returns to you.

Overview

Krull is a legendary, indestructible throwing star. It never breaks, is never consumed, and cannot be dropped or lost. Once thrown, it becomes an autonomous flying disc that seeks out hostile monsters, electrocutes them, and flies back to you when the area is clear — ready to throw again instantly.

What It Adds

Visually, Krull is a flat five-spoked golden disc. In first-person your hand grips one gold spoke, giving it the look and feel of a true throwing star. While active in the air, it visibly spins and leaves a subtle golden particle trail.

How To Use

• Hold Krull in your main hand or off-hand.
• Press Use to launch the active disc. Only one disc can be airborne per player at a time.
• The disc automatically hunts any monster-family hostile within 30 blocks of you.
• It prioritises the nearest target, flies toward it, and deals ~80 electric damage every 2 ticks to anything within a 2-block contact radius — applying electric spark particles and light knockback on each hit.
• When no valid hostiles remain in range, the disc returns to you on its own. It despawns as soon as it reaches you, and you can throw it again immediately.
• You do not need to do anything to catch it — just stand still or move normally and it will home back to your position.

Progression And Strategy

• Engage large groups: Throw Krull into a cluster of mobs. Its 2-block contact radius and rapid damage ticks can chain across tightly packed enemies before they spread out.
• Stay within 30 blocks: The disc searches for targets relative to your position, not its own. Keep yourself close to the fight so it can find targets and continue attacking.
• Pair with crowd control: Because knockback is intentionally low, enemies stay near the disc longer, maximising total damage dealt per pass.
• No cooldown: The moment the disc returns and despawns, you can immediately use Krull again — there is no cooldown or recharge, making rapid re-throws possible.
• Safe to use in any dimension: Krull cannot be permanently lost, so it is safe to bring into the Nether or End without risk.
