Description
Receiving the item: Every player automatically gets a Home Tab in their inventory shortly after spawning into the world, if they don't already have one. If your inventory is full, it will drop on the ground next to you instead. Setting your home: The first time you use the Home Tab, a form titled "Set Your Home" opens, asking for X, Y, and Z coordinates. Type in the numbers for the location you want to save (for example, the coordinates shown on your screen with coordinates enabled). Confirm the form to save your home. Teleporting home: Once a home is set, using the Home Tab again immediately teleports you to that exact position (including the correct dimension), plays a teleport sound, and shows a confirmation message with your coordinates. If you cancel or skip setup: The setup popup only appears once automatically per player. If you close it without entering a home, you can trigger it again simply by using the Home Tab item — using it while no home is saved will prompt you to set one. Invalid input: If any coordinate field isn't a valid number, your home will not be saved, and you'll see a message explaining that all three fields must be numeric. Just use the Home Tab again to retry.

- From then on, using the Home Tab item instantly teleports you back to that saved location, from anywhere in the world.
Overview
Home Teleport Button gives every player a personal teleport item that warps them straight back to a chosen "home" location. There's no crafting or exploring required — the item is handed to you automatically, and setting a home is as simple as filling in three numbers.
What It Adds
- Home Tab — a single-use-per-action item that acts as your personal teleport button. It cannot be stacked (max stack size of 1) and uses a spyglass-style use animation when activated.
How To Use
- Receiving the item: Every player automatically gets a Home Tab in their inventory shortly after spawning into the world, if they don't already have one. If your inventory is full, it will drop on the ground next to you instead.
- Setting your home: The first time you use the Home Tab, a form titled "Set Your Home" opens, asking for X, Y, and Z coordinates. Type in the numbers for the location you want to save (for example, the coordinates shown on your screen with coordinates enabled). Confirm the form to save your home.
- Teleporting home: Once a home is set, using the Home Tab again immediately teleports you to that exact position (including the correct dimension), plays a teleport sound, and shows a confirmation message with your coordinates.
- If you cancel or skip setup: The setup popup only appears once automatically per player. If you close it without entering a home, you can trigger it again simply by using the Home Tab item — using it while no home is saved will prompt you to set one.
- Invalid input: If any coordinate field isn't a valid number, your home will not be saved, and you'll see a message explaining that all three fields must be numeric. Just use the Home Tab again to retry.
Crafting And Obtaining
The Home Tab is not crafted — it is given automatically to every player after they spawn. If you ever lose it (drop it, or it despawns), simply reconnecting to the world will grant you another one automatically.
Abilities And Mechanics
- One-item guarantee: The mod checks your inventory and ensures you always have exactly one Home Tab; it won't keep duplicating extras.
- Cross-dimension travel: Your home location is saved along with the dimension it was set in (Overworld, Nether, or End), so teleporting home always brings you back to the correct dimension, even if you're currently somewhere else.
- Persistent home: Your home location is saved to your player profile and persists between sessions — you only need to set it once, though you can update it later using the setup form if you trigger it again before a home exists.
- Teleport feedback: Successful teleports play an enderman-style teleport sound and display your destination coordinates in chat.
Progression And Strategy
There's no progression curve — this is a convenience tool available from the moment you join. A good first step is to set your home near your base or spawn point so you can always return quickly after exploring, mining, or fighting. Since the Home Tab occupies an inventory slot and can't be stacked, keep it somewhere easy to reach, like your hotbar, for fast access when you need to retreat or return home in an emergency.
