Quickstart

1. Craft the Hollow Stone Hideout — place Stone around the outer ring of a crafting table (all 8 outer slots filled, center empty):

1. Place the block anywhere in the world — it looks and sounds exactly like vanilla stone.
2. Right-click the block to be instantly teleported into your private pocket-dimension base.
3. Inside, stand on the glowing Exit Portal (the clearly marked glowing structure) to return to the exact spot and facing direction you entered from. You can also hold Sneak (Shift) anywhere inside as a backup exit.

Overview

Hollow Stone Hideout adds a single craftable block that secretly opens into a personal, fully-furnished pocket-dimension base. The exterior is completely indistinguishable from normal stone — same texture (a custom rough grey rock matching large-rock proportions), sounds, mining speed, and cobblestone drops. Inside is a spacious 13×13×7 room, divided into clearly zoned areas, fully equipped for all core survival tasks, and persistent across server restarts and multiplayer sessions.

What It Adds

• Hollow Stone Hideout block — a full-cube stone-disguised block. Stacks to 64, drops cobblestone when mined, and behaves identically to vanilla stone in every way. Right-clicking teleports you into your own dimension.
• Pocket-dimension base — a 13×13×7 furnished interior, private per player, stable and persistent.

How To Use

Entering

Right-click (interact) the placed Hollow Stone Hideout block. You are immediately teleported into your personal room. Your exact world position and view direction are saved at the moment of entry.

Navigating the Interior

The room is divided into clearly zoned areas:

• Storage zone — multiple chests, barrels, and an ender chest.
• Crafting & smelting station — crafting table, furnace, blast furnace, and smoker.
• Enchanting corner — enchanting table surrounded by bookshelves.
• Smithing & repair — anvil for combining and repairing gear.
• Living area — bed, armor stands, item frames, carpets, potted plants, cauldrons, and cozy decorations.
• Lighting — lanterns and torches throughout keep the space fully lit.

Exiting

• Exit Portal (primary) — Step onto the glowing portal structure inside the room. You are instantly returned to the exact overworld position and facing direction you entered from.
• Sneak (backup) — Hold Shift anywhere inside to trigger the same return teleport if you cannot reach the portal.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft with a hollow ring of Stone (all 8 outer slots, center empty) in a crafting table:

Only smelted stone is required, making this available very early in survival.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Perfect stone disguise — Custom rough grey rock texture sized to match large-rock proportions, with vanilla stone sounds and mining behaviour. Drops cobblestone when broken and stacks to 64.
• Private per-player dimension — Each player gets their own stable, independent room. Other players cannot enter your hideout.
• Exact return position — Your overworld coordinates and camera angle are stored on entry and fully restored on exit — no drift or disorientation.
• Sneak exit fallback — Sneaking anywhere inside acts as a reliable backup exit method.
• No visible entrance — The block never changes appearance; there is no door, hatch, or animation to betray the hideout to other players or mobs.
• Persistence — Your room and all items inside survive server restarts and mod upgrades.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft it early (stone + furnace only) and place it near your starting base as an emergency panic room or secure storage hub.
• Embed it in a cave wall, stone floor, or existing stone structure — other players have no reason to right-click what appears to be ordinary stone.
• On multiplayer servers it doubles as a private AFK room: all stored items remain safe inside your personal dimension.
• The fully-equipped interior covers all core progression tasks — smelting, enchanting, anvil repair — without needing a separate overworld base.
• Always exit via the portal or Sneak before moving or mining the hideout block. Never mine the block from the outside while a player is still inside.
