Flying Iron Nail

Quickstart

At a crafting table, combine one iron ingot with one stick to make four nails:

Hold a nail and use your usual item-use control to throw it. Aim at a target to try its heavy impact, or throw it into a block and interact with the embedded nail to pick it back up. Leave room in your inventory to collect it.

Overview

Flying Iron Nail turns crafted iron nails into fast, throwable weapons. Each nail is a single-use throw unless you recover it from a block.

How To Use

• Aim and use the nail to launch it. There is no draw or charge step.
• Nails fly quickly with a slight downward arc. Aim carefully, especially at distant targets.
• A nail that hits an entity deals heavy damage and knockback, but is not recoverable.
• A nail that hits a block sticks there. Interact with it to return it to your inventory. If your inventory is full, it stays where it landed.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Impact: Deals 40 damage on a hit and can knock the target back.
• Bleeding: A hit also deals 1 additional damage per second for five seconds, if the target survives.
• Block recovery: Block-hit nails can be picked up by interacting with them.
