Farwalker Compass
Quickstart
Craft the compass at a crafting table:
Hold the compass and use it once to start tracking. Walk around to see your facing direction and distance traveled on the action bar. Use it again to pause tracking.
Overview
The compass shows which of eight directions you are facing and your accumulated travel distance in meters. It is a heading indicator, not a pointer to a destination.
Your distance is saved between uses. Use the compass again to resume tracking from your saved total.
How To Use
- Start or pause: Use the compass. The action-bar display appears while tracking is active.
- Build distance: The counter measures horizontal movement; vertical movement alone does not increase it.
- Reach the milestone: At 35,000 m, you unlock the in-mod achievement Far Walker — 35,000 m, with an on-screen announcement and sound.
