Eternal Waypoint Crystal

Quickstart

1. Join any world with the mod installed — the Eternal Waypoint Crystal d20 ultimate is automatically placed in the first slot of your hotbar. No crafting required to get started.
2. Use (right-click / tap the interact button) the Crystal to open the waypoint menu.
3. Select + Set New Waypoint to save your current location. Give it a name and choose Private (only you) or Public (all players).
4. Next time you open the menu, select ⭢ Teleport to Waypoint to instantly travel to any saved location — from any distance or dimension.

If you ever want a spare Crystal, it can also be crafted at a crafting table (see Crafting And Obtaining).

Overview

The Eternal Waypoint Crystal d20 ultimate is a single, persistent teleportation tool that every player receives automatically. It lets you bookmark any location in any dimension and warp there instantly through an in-game menu. The Crystal never disappears — it survives death, cannot be lost in your backpack, and is always returned to your hotbar automatically.

How To Use

Opening the Menu

Hold the Crystal and press Use (right-click on Java-style controls, or tap the interact button on touch). The ✦ Eternal Waypoint Crystal ✦ d20 ultimate menu opens, showing your current waypoint counts.

Main Menu Options

Saving a Waypoint

1. Choose + Set New Waypoint.
2. Select Private (only you) or Public (all players) from the dropdown.
3. Type a name (e.g. Home Base). Your current coordinates and dimension are shown for reference.
4. Confirm — a chat message confirms the saved location.

Teleporting

1. Choose ⭢ Teleport to Waypoint.
2. If you have more than 20 waypoints, use the Next Page / Previous Page buttons to browse.
3. Select the destination — you are teleported instantly, regardless of distance or dimension.

Deleting a Waypoint

1. Choose ✖ Delete a Waypoint.
2. Select the waypoint to remove from the list.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Crystal is granted to every player automatically on joining the world. If you need a replacement (for example, you manually discarded yours and the auto-restore hasn't triggered), you can craft one:

The recipe requires a Nether Star in the center, surrounded by alternating Diamonds and Eyes of Ender, crafted at a Crafting Table.

Abilities And Mechanics

Always in Your Hotbar

• The Crystal is locked in hotbar slot 1. It cannot be moved to your inventory bags.
• If it is somehow displaced, the mod automatically returns it to slot 1 within about one second.
• Any duplicate Crystals that appear are automatically removed.

Survives Everything

• The Crystal is kept on death — it returns to your hotbar after you respawn.
• It never despawns on the ground.
• A chat message confirms when it is returned to you after death.

Waypoint Visibility

Public waypoints persist for all players even if the creator is offline. Private waypoints remain personal forever.

Use Cooldown

After opening the menu, there is a brief 1-second cooldown before you can use the Crystal again. This prevents accidental double-opens.

Progression And Strategy

• Save a waypoint immediately when you find your base, a stronghold, a nether fortress, or any other valuable location — teleportation is free and unlimited.
• Use Public waypoints on multiplayer servers to create shared community hubs, markets, or spawn points that all players can access.
• Use Private waypoints for personal stashes, secret bases, or exploration bookmarks that you don't want others to find.
• The Crystal works across all three dimensions (Overworld, Nether, The End), making cross-dimensional travel trivial once waypoints are set.
• Because the Crystal is free and indestructible, there is no downside to saving waypoints liberally — use as many as you like.
