Eternal Ender Pearl

Quickstart

1. Obtain an Eternal Ender Pearl from the Creative inventory, or craft one using eight Crying Obsidian and one Ender Pearl.
2. Hold it in your hand and use it like a normal Ender Pearl.
3. Aim at a destination and throw it. When the pearl collides with a block or entity, you teleport to its impact position.
4. The item remains in your inventory after use, so you can throw it again after its short cooldown.

The crafting recipe is automatically unlocked when you join the world.

Overview

Eternal Ender Pearl adds a reusable Ender Pearl for repeated teleportation. It can travel through the world while keeping its current area active, allowing its journey to continue across unloaded terrain, logout, and dimensions.

The pearl teleports its owner when it reaches its actual collision point. The reusable item is not consumed; only the thrown projectile disappears after landing.

• Eternal Ender Pearl — A single-item stack that can be thrown endlessly.
• Ender Pearl-style teleportation on impact.
• Teleportation to the pearl’s destination dimension when applicable.
• Chunk loading around the active thrown pearl so its journey can continue.

How To Use

Throwing the Pearl

Hold the Eternal Ender Pearl and use it to throw. It follows the direction you aim, just like a vanilla Ender Pearl.

When it hits a block or entity:

• You teleport to the pearl’s impact position.
• Your fall distance is reset.
• A teleport sound plays at the destination.
• The thrown pearl is removed.
• The Eternal Ender Pearl remains in your inventory.

You can use the pearl again once the cooldown ends.

Long-Distance Journeys

The active projectile keeps its current chunk loaded while it is flying. This lets the pearl continue its journey even when it moves away from normally loaded terrain. Its journey is also designed to remain active across logout and dimension travel.

Important Interactions

• The pearl can be aimed at blocks or entities.
• You cannot teleport while sleeping.
• A thrown pearl only performs its teleport when its owner is connected.
• The item has a maximum stack size of one.

Craft the Eternal Ender Pearl with eight Crying Obsidian surrounding one Ender Pearl:

It is also available in the Functional Creative inventory tab. The recipe is automatically granted to players when they join the world and can be unlocked for all players with the normal recipe-unlock controls.

Abilities And Mechanics

Progression And Strategy

Use the Eternal Ender Pearl for repeated mobility rather than saving individual pearls for emergencies. It is especially useful for:

• Crossing large gaps or dangerous terrain.
• Reaching distant ledges and structures.
• Traveling between dimensions without carrying a supply of ordinary Ender Pearls.
• Sending a pearl toward a far destination while its flight keeps the route active.
• Returning to a familiar teleportation strategy without spending the item.

Aim carefully, since the teleport occurs wherever the pearl actually lands.
