Quickstart

1. In Creative mode, find the Eggshell Guardian Cat Spawn Egg and use it to spawn a cat. It can also spawn naturally on the surface or underground, in groups of one or two.
2. Use cooked chicken on the cat to tame it.
3. Bring it near monsters: your tamed guardian follows you and attacks monsters it can see and reach, defeating them with a single strike.

You can also summon one with /summon com_eggshell_guardian_cat_hdkcuypa:mycustom.

Overview

Categg adds the Eggshell Guardian Cat, a tameable companion built to guard its owner. It has 40 health and can walk, jump, swim, and travel over water.

How To Use

Feed an untamed cat cooked chicken to tame it. Once tamed, it follows its owner and can teleport to catch up. It seeks out nearby monsters and also defends its owner when they are attacked or attack a target.

Abilities And Mechanics

The guardian’s special attack can defeat a monster in one hit. It needs to get close to its target and have a clear line of sight, so give it room to approach.

Crafting And Obtaining

The spawn egg has no crafting recipe. Find one in the Creative inventory, encounter the cat naturally on the surface or underground, or summon it with the command above.

If the cat dies, it drops one egg and one diamond sword.
