Diamond Vaults

Quickstart

1. Make sure you have diamonds in your inventory.
2. Run /pv 1 to open your Diamond Vault I (requires 1 diamond).
3. Run /pv 2 to open your Diamond Vault II (requires 2 diamonds).
4. Drag items into the vault's slots to store them. Close the screen when you're done — your items stay safely stored until you open the vault again.

Overview

Diamond Vaults gives every player two private storage containers that are gated behind holding diamonds. Instead of crafting a chest or shulker box, you simply spend a moment proving you're carrying diamonds and a personal vault opens up. Your vaults are tied to you specifically — no other player can see or access your stored items.

What It Adds

• Diamond Vault I — a personal 9-slot storage container.
• Diamond Vault II — a personal 18-slot storage container, offering roughly double the space.
• The /pv command, which is the only way to open either vault.

How To Use

Type one of the following commands into chat:

• /pv 1 — opens Diamond Vault I. You must be holding at least 1 diamond anywhere in your inventory.
• /pv 2 — opens Diamond Vault II. You must be holding at least 2 diamonds anywhere in your inventory.

If you don't have enough diamonds on you, the vault will refuse to open and you'll see a message telling you how many diamonds are required. The diamonds themselves are not consumed — they just need to be present in your inventory at the moment you open the vault, acting as a "key" check.

Once open, the vault behaves like a normal storage container (similar to a chest): drag and drop items in and out, and shift-click to quickly move stacks. Closing the screen automatically saves the vault's contents.

Crafting And Obtaining

There is nothing to craft or place for this mod — vaults are opened entirely through commands. There are no physical vault blocks or items in the world; access is purely command-based and gated by diamond possession.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Two independent vaults per player: Vault I and Vault II store completely separate sets of items. Filling Vault I does not affect what's inside Vault II, and vice versa.
• Diamond-gated access: The diamonds required to open a vault are only a possession check — you keep them after opening the vault.
• Persistent storage: Everything you place in a vault remains there across game sessions, world restarts, and player logouts. Your vault contents are tied to your player identity, not your location.
• Private by design: Only you can open your own vaults — other players opening /pv 1 or /pv 2 will see their own separate vault contents, never yours.

Progression And Strategy

• Keep a diamond or two in your inventory at all times if you want quick access to extra storage while exploring or mining.
• Use Vault I for smaller, frequently accessed hauls, and save Vault II — with its larger capacity — for bulkier loot like blocks, ores, or backup gear.
• Because vault contents persist independently of your location, they're a great place to stash valuables before risky excursions (like fighting bosses or exploring dangerous areas) so you don't lose everything if you die.
