Diamond Emerald Fusion

Quickstart

1. In Creative mode, search for Fusion Core and Fusion Crystal.
2. Place the Fusion Core with open space above it.
3. Hold the Fusion Crystal and use it on the Core. One crystal is consumed, and the Core begins charging.
4. Wait for the ritual to summon a zombie and then a skeleton. Defeat both guardians near the Core.
5. When the ritual finishes, collect the Fusion Ingot dropped beside the Core.

For a quick setup with commands:

/give @s diamond-emerald-fusion-3c3r4ff6:fusion_crystal

The Core is busy during an active ritual and cannot be started again until it returns to its idle state.

Overview

Diamond Emerald Fusion introduces new ingots, Emerald tools, Fusion Crystals, and the Fusion Core. Smelt diamonds and emeralds into their respective ingots, use Emerald Ingots to make a complete tool set, and activate the Core with a Fusion Crystal to awaken guardians and create a Fusion Ingot.

How To Use

Smelting Ingots

Smelt a diamond in a furnace to create a Diamond Ingot:

Smelt an emerald in a furnace to create an Emerald Ingot:

Each smelting recipe takes 10 seconds and gives 0.1 experience.

Using Emerald Tools

Emerald tools are made from Emerald Ingots and sticks. They use diamond-level tool properties, have 2031 durability, and are effective for their normal tool categories.

Activating the Fusion Core

Place the Fusion Core, then use a Fusion Crystal on it while it is idle. The crystal is consumed immediately.

The ritual proceeds in stages:

1. The Core charges for about 10 seconds.
2. A zombie guardian appears above the Core.
3. About 10 seconds later, a skeleton guardian joins the ritual.
4. After another 10 seconds, the Core checks whether both guardians have been defeated.
5. If the guardians are gone, the Core returns to idle and drops one Fusion Ingot.

If either guardian remains nearby, the ritual waits and continues checking every two seconds. Defeat the guardians within roughly 16 blocks of the Core so the ritual can complete.

Crafting And Obtaining

Fusion Core

The Fusion Core is available in the Creative inventory. With cheats enabled, you can obtain it with:

/give @s diamond-emerald-fusion-3c3r4ff6:fusion_core

The Core is a heavy, obsidian-like block. It is mineable with a diamond-level pickaxe and drops itself when successfully mined.

Fusion Crystal

The Fusion Crystal is available in the Creative inventory. With cheats enabled, use:

/give @s diamond-emerald-fusion-3c3r4ff6:fusion_crystal

Use one Crystal on an idle Fusion Core to begin a guardian ritual.

Fusion Ingot

The Fusion Ingot is produced by completing a Fusion Core ritual. It is dropped beside the Core after both guardians are defeated.

Abilities And Mechanics

Guardian Ritual

The Core summons two guardians in sequence:

• A zombie
• A skeleton

Both appear directly above the Core. Leave enough vertical space for them to spawn, and consider enclosing the area so they cannot wander away while you fight them.

Core States

The Fusion Core has four practical stages:

• Idle — accepts a Fusion Crystal.
• Charging — preparing the first guardian.
• Guardians — the zombie has appeared and the skeleton is next.
• Finishing — waiting for the guardians to be defeated before producing the Fusion Ingot.

Using a Crystal on a Core that is already active does not start another ritual.

Fusion Ingot

The Fusion Ingot is the finished product of the guardian ritual. The current tool recipes use Emerald Ingots rather than Fusion Ingots, so reserve Fusion Ingots for the uses available in your world or Creative inventory.

Progression And Strategy

1. Gather diamonds and emeralds and smelt them into Diamond Ingots and Emerald Ingots.
2. Craft an Emerald Pickaxe and other Emerald tools for durable diamond-level equipment.
3. Obtain a Fusion Core and several Fusion Crystals.
4. Build a small, enclosed combat area around the Core with clear space above it.
5. Start the ritual with a Crystal, then prepare for the zombie and skeleton.
6. Use an Emerald Sword or Emerald Spear to defeat the guardians.
7. Collect the Fusion Ingot and repeat the ritual when the Core becomes idle.
