Creeper Rocket Launcher

Quickstart

Craft the launcher and a stack of ammo at a crafting table, then keep the ammo in your inventory. Equip the launcher, aim, and use it to fire. In Creative mode, you can also find both items in the equipment section of the inventory.

Try firing at a distant target in an open area first: the rocket explodes on impact and can damage nearby mobs and blocks.

Overview

The Creeper Rocket Launcher is a ranged weapon that fires explosive rockets. Each shot makes a firework-launch sound and detonates when it hits an entity or a surface.

What It Adds

• Creeper Rocket Launcher: A durable, reusable weapon that fires the mod’s ammo.
• Creeper Rocket Launcher Ammo: The rocket ammunition used by the launcher; each crafted batch contains 16.

How To Use

1. Carry ammo in your inventory and equip the launcher.
2. Aim at your target and use the launcher to fire. It fires immediately; there is no draw or charge time.
3. Allow a brief pause between shots before firing again.

Crafting And Obtaining

Both items are crafted at a crafting table using the recipes above. The launcher searches your inventory for its ammo, so you do not need to hold the ammo separately.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Rockets travel forward and explode on impact, dealing impact damage and triggering a blast with knockback.
• The explosion does not cause fire. Whether it destroys blocks depends on the world’s griefing settings.
• The launcher has 500 durability and can wear down with use.

Progression And Strategy

Make extra ammo before heading out, and test the blast in a safe area if you want to avoid damaging nearby terrain. Keep your distance from the impact point, especially when firing at close targets.
