Quickstart

1. Gather 2 oak planks and 1 stick.
2. Open a crafting table and craft the Wooden Sword:

1. Equip the sword in your hand.
2. Use your normal attack control to strike an entity. A successful hit deals overwhelming damage and should defeat the target immediately.

You can also find the Wooden Sword in the equipment section of the Creative inventory.

Overview

Coalbound Furnace Cart adds a powerful custom weapon: the Wooden Sword. Although it uses the appearance and crafting ingredients of a basic wooden sword, hitting an entity with it applies an extremely large amount of damage.

What It Adds

The Wooden Sword:

• Is held and used like a normal sword.
• Has a maximum durability of 59.
• Cannot be stacked with other items.
• Can receive sword enchantments.
• Has a base attack damage value of 4, plus its special hit effect.

How To Use

Hold the Wooden Sword in your main hand and attack an entity using the standard attack control for your device. Its special effect activates when the sword successfully hits a valid entity.

Use it against hostile mobs, passive animals, and other attackable entities. The effect applies to the entity you hit; swinging at empty air does not activate it.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Wooden Sword at a crafting table using two oak planks and one stick:

In Creative mode, select Wooden Sword from the equipment category or search for it in the inventory.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Overwhelming strike: A successful hit applies an enormous amount of damage to the target.
• Sword behavior: The item is recognized and used as a sword, so it can be held in hand and enchanted using sword-compatible enchantments.
• Limited durability: The sword has 59 durability, so it is not unlimited despite its extreme damage.
• Single-item stack: Each inventory slot holds only one Wooden Sword.

Progression And Strategy

The Wooden Sword is immediately useful once you have access to oak planks, a stick, and a crafting table. Craft one early when you need a fast way to defeat dangerous entities, then carry a spare if you expect extended combat because each sword has limited durability.
