    Description:

Adds a craftable Bread Gauge Block that slowly fills over time and produces one bread when you interact with it while full. The block visibly cycles through empty, halfway, and full textures so you can watch its progress, then it resets to empty after dispensing bread. Craft it with bread, redstone, copper, and smooth stone, and pick it up intact when broken so you can move or mass‑deploy it as a simple, automated bread source.

    Bread Gauge Block

    Quickstart

    1. Open a Crafting Table and craft a Bread Gauge Block:
    minecraft:bread
    minecraft:bread
    minecraft:bread
    minecraft:redstone
    minecraft:copper_ingot
    minecraft:redstone
    minecraft:smooth_stone
    minecraft:smooth_stone
    minecraft:smooth_stone

    1. Place the block anywhere in your world.
    2. Watch its texture change from empty → halfway → full as it fills on its own — no input needed.
    3. Once the texture shows full, interact (tap/right-click) the block to collect one bread. It pops out on top and the block resets to empty automatically.

    Overview

The Bread Gauge Block is a passive, self-filling bread dispenser. Place it, wait for it to fill, then collect your bread. It repeats this cycle indefinitely, making it a simple set-and-forget food source. Breaking the block always drops it as an item, so you can pick it up and redeploy it wherever you like.

    What It Adds

    Item/BlockDescription
Bread Gauge BlockCraftable block that generates one bread per fill cycle. Displays three distinct textures based on its current fill level.

    How To Use

    1. Place the Bread Gauge Block on any solid surface.
    2. The block ticks on its own every 10–13 seconds, advancing through its fill stages:
      • Empty → Halfway → Full
    3. Interact with the block at any stage to check its status — your action bar will display one of:
      • Bread Gauge: empty
      • Bread Gauge: halfway
      • Bread Gauge: full – bread generated!
    4. Only interacting when the block is full produces bread. The bread item spawns above the block with a pop sound, and the block resets to empty to begin the next cycle.

    Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Bread Gauge Block at a Crafting Table:

Breaking a placed Bread Gauge Block always drops itself intact, regardless of fill level. You never lose the block, and you can freely move or mass-deploy multiple blocks for a larger passive bread supply.

    Abilities And Mechanics

    • Visual fill gauge — The block's texture visually reflects its current state: a distinct appearance for empty, halfway, and full. You can read its progress at a glance without needing to interact.
    • Passive ticking — The block advances its fill level automatically over time. No fuel, no items, and no player presence required.
    • On-screen feedback — Interacting while not full shows a status message on your action bar so you always know how far along the cycle is.
    • Safe to break — The loot table guarantees the block always drops itself, preserving your investment.

    Progression And Strategy

    • Early food supply — Craft a Bread Gauge Block as soon as you have bread, redstone, a copper ingot, and smooth stone. It provides a slow but completely hands-off bread stream.
    • Scale up — Place multiple blocks side by side to multiply your output. Each block runs its own independent cycle.
    • Relocate freely — Because the block always drops intact, you can move your setup to a base, farm, or anywhere else without any loss.
    • Timing — Each full cycle takes roughly 20–26 seconds (two ticks of 10–13 seconds each), so plan your collection runs accordingly when relying on it as a primary food source.
