Mod Wiki
Bloodmoon Nether
Quickstart
Craft a Bloodmoon Sigil at a crafting table, then use it and choose Enter Bloodmoon Nether. Use the sigil again there and choose Return home when you’re ready to leave.

Explore the crimson terrain, mine Bloodredstone Ore and Bloodiron Ore, and watch for Bloodmoon enemies. Turn raw Bloodstone into a blade and armor before venturing far.
Overview
Bloodmoon Nether is a night-bound dimension of crimson landscapes, dangerous mobs, and landmarks to explore. Travel in and out with the Bloodmoon Sigil; the dimension’s terrain and mobs make it a place to gather materials and test your gear.
What It Adds
- Terrain and plants: Blood Ash, Crimson Soilstone, Blood Basalt, Red Ash shores, Bloodwood trees, and Bloodthistle. Blood-Lava Crust also appears on high ground.
- Ores: Bloodredstone Ore and Bloodiron Ore.
- Landmarks: A Bloodmoon Fortress, Blood Village, and Blood Mineshaft.
- Mobs: Bloodmoon Zombies, Bloodmoon Blazes, Bloodmoon Ghosts, Blood Hogs, Blood Reavers, Blood Traders, and the Blood Ender Dragon.
- Gear and materials: Bloodstone armor and blade, Blood Rods, Blood Orbs, Blood Emeralds, and Bloodiron Ingots.
How To Use
Use the Bloodmoon Sigil to open the travel menu. Choose Enter Bloodmoon Nether to travel there or Return home to go back to the Overworld.
The Bloodmoon Nether stays at night. Bloodmoon enemies can appear as you explore, so bring weapons, armor, food, and blocks for crossing hazardous terrain. Blood Hogs provide meat; cook Raw Blood Hog Meat in a furnace, smoker, or campfire for a more filling meal.
The fortress and village are near (192, 192) and (-128, 192) respectively; the mineshaft is near (512, 320). These are X/Z coordinates within the Bloodmoon Nether.
Crafting And Obtaining
Mine Bloodredstone Ore for Bloodstone (shown as Bloodstone Ore in your inventory). Use it to craft Bloodstone gear and to repair that gear. Bloodiron Ore drops Bloodiron Chunks; smelt them into ingots.

- The Bloodstone Blade deals 8 damage and has 1,300 durability.
- Bloodstone armor provides 3 protection from the helmet, 8 from the chestplate, 6 from the leggings, and 3 from the boots.
- Blood Reavers swoop at players. The Blood Ender Dragon is a rare flying boss that attacks from range.
Progression And Strategy
Start by collecting Bloodstone and Blood Orbs, then craft a blade and armor before pushing deeper into the dimension.
