Blocky Road Rides
Quickstart
Craft the Blocky Road Rides item:
- Place it in an open area. The car’s block-built form assembles around the placed block; leave room for the full structure.
- Right-click any part of the assembled car to turn it into a drivable vehicle and climb in.
- Drive with W/S and steer with A/D. Press Ctrl to get out.
Overview
Blocky Road Rides lets you place a block-built car and ride it as a single-seat vehicle. While driving, an on-screen display shows your speed and heading.
What It Adds
- A placeable Blocky Road Rides car assembly.
- A drivable road car with a 27-slot trunk.
- A driving display showing speed in km/h and heading.
How To Use
Place the item where the car’s structure has room to form. The assembly faces according to your orientation when placing it. Its parts only appear in open or replaceable spaces, so obstructions can leave the build incomplete.
Right-click any part of the assembled car to start the ride. To open the trunk, get out, then sneak and right-click the car. The trunk can also store items between sessions.
Abilities And Mechanics
- W/S: Drive forward or reverse.
- A/D: Steer.
- Ctrl: Exit the car.
- Let go of W/S to slow down.
- The car seats one player. If it is destroyed, it drops the car item and any items stored in its trunk.
Progression And Strategy
There’s no vehicle upgrade process: place the car, try driving and reversing, and use its trunk to carry supplies. Build it in a clear area to leave room for the full assembly and an easy first drive.
How to install
This Java mod can be used on Windows and Mac PCs with the CreativeMode Launcher or any Minecraft launcher of your choice.
