Blockstorm Rifle

Quickstart

At a crafting table, make a Blockstorm Rifle and a Blockstorm Rifle Magazine . Hold the magazine in your offhand or keep it in your inventory, then equip the rifle in your main hand.

Aim at a target and hold your usual Use/Fire control to shoot automatically. Release to stop firing. Try aiming down a clear line: the rifle hits instantly, but blocks stop its shots.

Overview

Blockstorm Rifle adds an AK-style automatic weapon and its magazine ammunition for defending your world. Its visible tracer follows your aim, and its shots can reach targets up to 48 blocks away.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Keep the rifle in your main hand and a magazine in your offhand or inventory.
• Hold Use/Fire to fire a burst; let go to stop. The rifle fires about 6–7 times per second while held.
• Aim with your view direction. Shots hit the first damageable entity in their path, and solid blocks obstruct them.
• A magazine represents ammunition for a burst, rather than a separate round for each shot.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Each shot deals 2,048 damage, enough to defeat standard mobs and even high-health bosses in one hit when they can take damage.
• Shots are instant rather than traveling projectiles. A pale tracer shows the shot’s path.
• The rifle has 384 durability.
