Bedrock Gem Colossus

Quickstart

• In Creative mode, find the Bedrock Gem Colossus Spawn Egg and use it in a spacious area.
• With cheats enabled, you can summon one with /summon com_bedrock_gem_colossus_ii5zie4h:mycustom.
• Keep your distance and leave pets behind: the Colossus is extremely fast, hits brutally hard, and can call in two more enemies.

Overview

The Bedrock Gem Colossus is a towering, aggressive boss mob. It has 199,998 health, moves quickly, and hunts players as well as wolves, cats, and parrots. Its enormous size makes an open area the best place to encounter it.

What It Adds

• The Bedrock Gem Colossus and its spawn egg.
• A pair of summoned enemies: a Ruby Evoker and a Gem Herobrine (an enderman).

How To Use

The Colossus attacks automatically when targets are nearby. Its heavy strike deals 900 damage, so avoid getting within reach. It can also summon the Ruby Evoker and Gem Herobrine beside itself; blocked spawn locations may prevent either one from appearing.

Crafting And Obtaining

There are no crafting recipes for the Colossus or its spawn egg. Use the egg in Creative mode or summon the mob with a command.

It can also spawn naturally on the Overworld surface in darkness, between Y=64 and Y=320. It appears alone, and natural encounters are uncommon.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Heavy strike: Deals 900 damage to a nearby target it can see.
• Gem summons: Calls a Ruby Evoker and Gem Herobrine. The first summon can happen about 30 seconds after the Colossus appears; further summons can happen about every 60 seconds.
• Hard to stop: Its massive health and full knockback resistance make pushing it back or defeating it a serious challenge.

Progression And Strategy

Fight in open terrain so you can see the Colossus and its summons, and keep moving to avoid its close-range strike. Do not bring wolves, cats, or parrots: it can target them too.

Defeating it drops 12–24 diamonds and 16–32 emeralds. A player kill also drops an enchanted netherite sword, and the Colossus awards 10,000 experience.
