Quickstart

Craft the rod at a crafting table:

Aim at a block near the top of the area you want to clear and use the rod. It clears a 10×10 shaft downward toward bedrock. Try it in an open area first.

Overview

The Bedrock Borer Rod turns one use into a wide vertical excavation. It removes blocks in the shaft rather than dropping them, and leaves bedrock in place.

How To Use

• Aim at a block; the rod uses the block you are looking at as the shaft’s height and center.
• Use the rod once to clear downward in a 10×10 area. The shaft follows the bedrock beneath each column.
• Wait 15 seconds before using it again.

Choose your target carefully: blocks cleared by the rod are removed, not collected.
