Arena Duel

Quickstart

1. Enter /pvp in chat to open the PvP Arena panel.
2. Choose Fight the bot for a solo match, or Challenge a player and select someone online. Player duels begin only after the other player accepts.
3. Fight using normal Minecraft combat controls. You’ll be teleported to an arena and given a diamond sword and iron armor; your usual inventory and equipped gear are set aside until the duel ends.

Try the bot fight first to get familiar with the arena and temporary kit.

Overview

Arena Duel lets you start a PvP match against another player or an arena bot without bringing your own combat gear. Fights take place in temporary, enclosed arenas. Your original items and equipment are returned when the match ends.

What It Adds

• A /pvp command that opens the duel menu.
• Player challenges with an acceptance prompt.
• A solo fight against a zombie called Arena Duel Bot.
• Temporary arenas and a duel kit: a diamond sword and iron helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots. The bot carries an iron sword and wears an iron helmet.

How To Use

Challenge a player

In the PvP Arena panel, choose Challenge a player, then select an available player. They can accept or decline the invitation, or open /pvp and accept your challenge there. Invitations expire after about 45 seconds.

Fight the bot

Choose Fight the bot in the panel. You’ll be sent into the arena to fight the Arena Duel Bot.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Your inventory, armor, and offhand are stored while you duel. Your original items are restored when the match ends; if you die, they’re restored when you respawn.
• A player duel ends when one participant dies. A bot duel ends when the bot is defeated.
• Duels end after 10 minutes if they haven’t finished. Leaving the world during a duel also ends it.
• The arena and its remaining duel items are cleared when the match ends.

Progression And Strategy

There’s no separate progression system: start another duel from /pvp whenever you’re ready. In a player match, confirm your opponent has accepted before expecting the duel to begin. During a fight, use the provided gear and keep in mind that the arena match has a time limit.
