Quickstart

1. Obtain the Arc Reactor Armor Suit from the Creative inventory, or craft it at a crafting table:

1. Equip the suit in your chest armor slot. It is a single-piece suit, so no additional armor pieces are required.
2. Try the controls while wearing it:
   • Double-jump to activate flight.
   • Sprint to fire a beam.
   • Sneak to trigger a ground shockwave.
   • Attack an entity to knock it back with a repulsor blast.
   • Press Use normally for a focused beam, or press Use while sneaking for a shockwave.

You can also spawn the suit with:

/give @s com_arc_reactor_armor_m5i73bql:my_chest 1

Overview

The Arc Reactor Armor Suit gives you Iron Man-style mobility, defenses, enhanced movement, and offensive abilities. Flight and the suit’s passive systems remain active as long as the suit is equipped.

The on-screen status display shows:

Arc Reactor ONLINE | Flight: double-jump • Sprint: beam • Sneak: shockwave

What It Adds

The mod adds one wearable item:

Arc Reactor Armor Suit

• Occupies the chest armor slot
• Provides protection value 8
• Has 500 durability
• Absorbs all listed damage types
• Can be enchanted as chest armor
• Stacks to 1
• Can be repaired with iron ingots

How To Use

Equip the Suit

Place the Arc Reactor Armor Suit in your chest armor slot. The suit’s flight, defenses, passive effects, and combat systems activate automatically.

Removing the suit disables flight and clears the suit’s status display.

Flight

While wearing the suit, double-jump to toggle Minecraft flight. The suit continually maintains flight access while equipped.

Beam

Use the suit while looking in a direction to fire a focused beam:

• Travels up to 18 blocks
• Follows your view direction
• Deals 5 magic damage to non-player entities along its path
• Creates a visible critical-hit particle trail

You can also fire the beam by starting to sprint while wearing the suit.

Ground Shockwave

Sneak and use the suit to release a shockwave around your position:

• Reaches 4 blocks
• Deals 5 explosion damage to nearby non-player entities
• Creates an explosion effect

Starting to sneak while wearing the suit also triggers the shockwave.

Repulsor Blast

Attack an entity while wearing the suit to launch it backward and upward. A repulsor particle effect marks the target.

The suit’s abilities share a short cooldown, so wait briefly between consecutive beam and shockwave activations.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Arc Reactor Armor Suit at a crafting table using iron ingots and redstone.

The recipe unlocks when you have obtained an iron ingot and redstone. The suit can also be obtained directly from the Creative inventory or with its /give command.

Abilities And Mechanics

While equipped, the suit grants these sustained effects:

The passive effects are maintained automatically and do not require food, fuel, or a separate activation item.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft the suit early if you want a strong all-purpose chest armor piece powered by common iron and redstone.
• Use flight to scout terrain, reach high locations, and reposition during combat.
• Fire the beam at targets in front of you, then use the repulsor blast when enemies get close.
• Sneak before activating the shockwave when surrounded.
• Sprint-triggered beams and sneak-triggered shockwaves are useful when you want to attack without stopping to aim and use the item.
• Keep iron ingots available for repairs as the suit loses durability.
