Annoyed Sunglasses Buddy

Quickstart

1. Craft the kaixion item using the recipe below.
2. Hold it and use it (right-click / tap) to open the colorful kaixion menu.
3. Pick a gear category to get free OP loot, or choose the chat option to talk with kaixion.
4. Put kaixion in your offhand to place a following buddy that reacts when you chat with him.
5. Careful — annoying him too much will get you killed!

Overview

Annoyed Sunglasses Buddy adds a single quirky companion item: kaixion, a sunglasses-wearing YouTuber-styled buddy who hands out overpowered gear and reacts to your chatting with increasing annoyance. Use him to quickly gear up in Creative-style fashion, or push your luck by talking to him too much.

What It Adds

• kaixion item — a held item that opens a menu of free OP gear categories.
• Placeable buddy — put kaixion in your offhand to spawn a following companion that floats and talks.
• Chat & Annoyance system — chatting with kaixion raises an annoyance counter; get him angry enough and he'll kill you.

How To Use

• Open the menu: Hold the kaixion item and use it. This brings up the "kaixion UI" with buttons for OP Food, OP Weapons, OP Items, OP Blocks, and Chat With Him.
• Get gear: Selecting a gear category instantly gives you a stack of powerful items (see below).
• Chat with him: Selecting "Chat With Him" opens a text box where you can type anything. Each message increases his annoyance level, shown as X/8.
• Place a following buddy: Equip kaixion in your offhand slot to summon a companion version of him that follows you, floats slightly, and displays his current annoyance level above his head when you talk to him.
• Watch the annoyance meter: Every chat message pushes kaixion closer to his limit. At 8/8 annoyance, he snaps and kills you, then resets his anger back to 0.

Abilities And Mechanics

OP Gear Categories (each grants a full stack or set of items instantly):

Annoyance System:

• Each chat message with kaixion increases your personal annoyance counter by 1.
• kaixion sends escalating remarks about his "YouTube channel," subscriber count, and video count as annoyance rises.
• Reaching 8 annoyance points causes kaixion to kill you instantly, then his annoyance toward you resets to 0 so you can start over.

Progression And Strategy

• Use the OP gear menu freely to gear up fast for building, testing, or fun survival runs.
• Keep an eye on the annoyance counter shown in the menu and in kaixion's chat responses — it tells you exactly how close you are to being killed.
• Place a following kaixion in your offhand to keep him nearby, watch his name tag for his current annoyance level, and decide whether to push him further or back off before you hit 8/8.
