Angel Islands

Quickstart

1. Find the biome – Explore the Overworld until you discover the Angel Islands biome, a radiant blue-tinted Holy Grassland with glowing terrain and colourful Holy Oak trees.
2. Grab a starter kit (operators only) – Run /angelislands starter_kit to receive a Golden Oak Sapling, a Holy Stone Pickaxe, and an Angel Villager Spawn Egg to jump-start exploration.
3. Gather Holy Emeralds – Mine Holy Ore embedded in Holy Stone terrain (requires an iron-tier pickaxe or better). Each ore drops 1–2 Holy Emeralds.
4. Smelt Holy Ore for Holly Ingots – Put Holy Ore in a furnace to unlock the upgraded tool tier.
5. Craft your first tools – Use Holy Stone + Holy Sticks for the starter set, or Holly Ingots + Holy Sticks for the upgraded set.
6. Talk to an Angel Villager – Right-click one to open their trade menu and buy or sell holy materials.

Overview

Angel Islands adds a sacred Overworld biome filled with unique blocks, mobs, trees, and two tiers of holy-themed tools. Progress from gathering Holy Stone to smelting Holly Ingots, trade with Angel Villagers, ride a Pegasus, and challenge hostile mobs including the King Skeleton boss.

How To Use

Mining

Holy Stone and Holy Ore both require an iron-tier pickaxe (or better) to break. Use a Holy Stone Pickaxe or better once you have one crafted.

Smelting Holly Ingots

Place Holy Ore in any furnace to produce Holly Ingots, used for the upgraded tool set.

Trading with Angel Villagers

Right-click an Angel Villager to open their shop. Sample trades:

• 3 Holy Ore → 1 Holy Emerald
• 1 Holy Emerald → 4 Holy Ore
• 1 Holy Emerald → 2 Golden Oak Saplings
• 2 Holy Emeralds → 1 Holy Stone Pickaxe
• 5 Holy Emeralds → 1 Holy Ore Sword

Riding a Pegasus

Tame or spawn a Pegasus and interact with it to ride.

Coloured Leaves

Craft coloured oak leaves by combining Oak Leaves, the matching dye, and a Holy Emerald. Leaves drop their sapling type at roughly an 8% chance, letting you grow your own holy trees anywhere.

Combine an Emerald + Gold Ingot + Glowstone Dust (shapeless).

Holy Stone

Combine Stone + Holy Emerald (shapeless) → 2 Holy Stone.

Holly Ingot (smelting)

• Holy Oak Log → 4 Holy Planks (shapeless, any crafting grid)
• 2 Holy Planks (vertical) → 4 Holy Sticks

Abilities And Mechanics

• Holy Ore drop: Mining Holy Ore without Silk Touch yields 1–2 Holy Emeralds directly. Smelt the ore block (obtained with Silk Touch) for Holly Ingots.
• Emerald Slimes: On death they drop Slime Balls (quantity scales with slime size) plus one Holy Emerald — a renewable Holy Emerald source.
• King Skeleton: A stronger skeleton boss granting 15 XP on death.
• Angel Villager Houses: Naturally generated structures in the biome containing beds and loot chests stocked with Holy Emeralds, ore pockets, and other themed items.
• Coloured Saplings: Golden, Red, Purple, and Blue Oak saplings can be grown to produce decorative holy trees. Obtain them from their respective leaves or from Angel Villager trades.

Progression And Strategy

1. Early: Locate the Angel Islands biome. Loot the Angel Villager house chests for a head-start supply of Holy Emeralds and materials.
2. Holy Stone tier: Craft Holy Stone tools (pickaxe first) to mine Holy Ore efficiently.
3. Holly Ingot tier: Smelt Holy Ore → Holly Ingots and craft the full Holy Ore tool set for improved performance.
4. Trading: Use Holy Emeralds to trade with Angel Villagers for tools, saplings, and bulk ore. Farming Emerald Slimes is a reliable way to keep your Holy Emerald stock topped up.
5. Exploration: Seek out the King Skeleton for XP and combat challenge. Tame a Pegasus for fast overworld travel. Grow all four coloured oak tree variants to build out a sacred base.
