2. Hold the item in your main hand and right-click to spread the diamond plague around you.
3. Press R to toggle between infecting blocks with Diamond Ore or Diamond Block.
4. Watch the chat message and listen for a chime sound to see how many blocks were converted.

Overview

Almazo Zarazitel ("Diamond Infector") is a single magical item that spreads a "diamond plague" through the terrain around you. With one right-click, solid blocks near you are transformed into diamond ore or diamond blocks, letting you instantly generate diamond-rich terrain or decorate large areas with sparkling diamond blocks.

What It Adds

• Almazo Zarazitel – a unique tool item that infects nearby blocks with diamonds. It stacks only to 1 per slot, marking it as a special, singular tool rather than a consumable.
• A toggleable infection mode: Diamond Ore or Diamond Block.
• A dedicated keybind (default R) to switch modes while holding the item.

How To Use

• Right-click while holding the item to trigger the infection. It converts eligible blocks within a 10-block spherical radius centered on your position.
• Press R while holding the item to toggle between the two infection modes:
  • Diamond Ore mode – converts affected blocks into Diamond Ore.
  • Diamond Block mode – converts affected blocks into solid Diamond Blocks.
• A chat message tells you how many blocks were infected each time you use the item, and a chime sound plays to confirm the action (pitch varies slightly by mode).
• Toggling modes also plays a short confirmation sound and shows the currently selected mode in chat.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Almazo Zarazitel item using diamond ore, diamond blocks, and an end rod:

The crafting recipe is also automatically unlocked and granted to every player as soon as they join the world, so you don't need to search for it manually.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Infection radius: Right-clicking affects all blocks within a 10-block spherical radius of the player.
• Protected blocks: Air blocks, blocks with inventories (like chests or furnaces), and unbreakable blocks (such as bedrock) are never converted, so your infrastructure stays safe.
• Persistent mode: The chosen mode (Ore or Block) is stored on the item itself, so it stays set even after you put it down and pick it back up.
• The item does not get consumed or take durability damage from use — it can be used repeatedly.

Progression And Strategy

• Use Diamond Ore mode to quickly seed an area with mineable diamond ore deposits — great for setting up mining farms or decorative "diamond veins."
• Use Diamond Block mode for fast large-scale diamond block construction, ideal for builds, beacons, or flashy structures.
• Because the effect is centered on the player, positioning yourself carefully (e.g., mid-air, underground, or near a cave system) lets you control exactly which terrain gets infected.
• Since the item won't overwrite chests, furnaces, or similarly protected blocks, it's safe to use near bases without destroying stored inventories.
