Right-click the Chat Command Companion Egg to spawn a loyal companion, then control it by typing chat commands such as follow, stay, attack, guard, come, build, go back home, patrol, scout, heal, gear up, regroup and more. The companion auto-defends and will teleport to assist in combat, run timed food and ore supply trips, sleep and remember the nearest bed, and — if given building materials — construct a simple oak/birch house; it can also fetch logs or food from nearby chests and cook or deposit the output into furnaces and chests. The egg is now craftable early-game using a straightforward recipe: an armor stand surrounded by dirt.
