Zombie Chest Clash

Quickstart

1. Get at least one other player online with you.
2. Run /chestclash start to open a new match.
3. Have everyone run /chestclash join before the waiting timer runs out.
4. When chests appear, right-click one to claim your loot — choose wisely!
5. Fight the other players until only one is left standing.
6. If you're lucky, you'll pull a Friendly Zombie Egg from your chest. Use it to summon a zombie ally that fights by your side.

Overview

Zombie Chest Clash is a player-vs-player minigame. A match starts with players gathering, choosing between three mystery chests for their loadout, and then battling it out until a single winner remains. One of the chests may hand out a rare item that summons a loyal zombie bodyguard, adding a bit of luck and strategy to every round.

What It Adds

• A full minigame loop run entirely through chat commands — no setup required beyond starting the game.
• A Friendly Zombie Egg item: a rare drop that spawns an ally zombie loyal to whoever uses it.
• A Friendly Zombie entity: a strong, fast zombie companion that follows and protects its owner.
• An on-screen HUD showing the current match phase, players in the game, and time remaining.

How To Use

All gameplay is controlled with the /chestclash command:

Match Flow

1. Waiting – After /chestclash start, the game waits about 10 seconds for players to /chestclash join. At least 2 players are needed, or the match cancels.
2. Chest Selection – Three chests spawn in a row near the arena. You have about 20 seconds to right-click one. Each chest holds different loot, and one of them may contain a Friendly Zombie Egg.
3. Fighting – Once everyone has picked, combat begins. Players have about 2 minutes to fight. Eliminate opponents to be the last one standing and win the match.
4. Ended – The match concludes and results are announced; a new game can then be started.

Watch the HUD box at the top of your screen — it tracks the current phase, remaining time, and how many players are still in the match.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Friendly Zombie Egg cannot be crafted. It is only obtainable as random loot from a chest during the Chest Selection phase of a match — there's roughly a small chance any given chest contains one.

Abilities And Mechanics

Friendly Zombie Egg

• Right-click any block with the egg in hand to summon your Friendly Zombie right there.
• The egg is consumed on use and can only be held one at a time.

Friendly Zombie

• Tougher and faster than a normal zombie, with high health, strong attack, and a long following range.
• Follows and protects its owner, never attacks or targets them, and takes no damage from them.
• Does not burn in daylight, so it can fight for you at any time of day.
• Occasionally shows heart particles when staying close to its owner.
• Will pursue and fight other players and hostiles on behalf of its owner, acting as a personal bodyguard during the match.

Progression And Strategy

• Picking a chest is a gamble — you won't know what's inside until you commit, so weigh the risk of an empty-handed pick against the chance of pulling the Friendly Zombie Egg.
• A Friendly Zombie is a major combat advantage: use it aggressively to pressure other players while it can't be turned against you.
• Since matches are short and fights are direct player-vs-player combat, positioning near your chosen chest and reacting quickly to the fight bell are key to getting an early edge.
• Coordinate with friends to fill the minimum player count quickly, since a match cancels if not enough players join in time.
