Quickstart

1. Get your hands on Violet Energy Conduits and craft a Violet Energy Core using {{ cm:recipe id="1021464" }}.
2. Hold the Violet Energy Core and use it (right-click / trigger use) to activate the Dominion uplink.
3. Explore or build with Imperial Pavement and Violet Energy Conduit blocks to recreate the alien megacity aesthetic, and watch for glowing Signal Sprout growth in the environment.

Overview

Zin Violet Dominion brings a slice of the dark alien megacity ruled by Emperor Zinyak into your world. It adds themed building blocks, an eerie luminous plant, and a powerful alien artifact that grants temporary tactical protection. Use these pieces to build violet-lit imperial structures and empower yourself with alien technology.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Imperial Pavement: Place like any block to floor or decorate Dominion-style builds. It's tougher than typical decorative blocks and resists explosions well.
• Violet Energy Conduit: Place it to light up builds — it emits a strong violet glow (light level 10) and is quite blast-resistant, making it good for both aesthetics and durable structures.
• Signal Sprout: A fragile, cross-shaped plant that can be placed on suitable surfaces for atmospheric decoration. It breaks almost instantly and has no collision, so you can walk right through it.
• Violet Energy Core: Hold this item and activate it (use/right-click). It takes half a second to trigger, slows your movement slightly while using, and can only be held one at a time (it doesn't stack). Activating it plays a beacon-like activation sound and sends you a message confirming the uplink is active.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Violet Energy Core using Violet Energy Conduits, Amethyst Shards, and an Echo Shard on a crafting table:

Violet Energy Conduits and Imperial Pavement are obtainable from the creative inventory (Construction category) or through survival gathering/crafting setups in your world; Signal Sprout is found in the Nature category of the creative menu.

Abilities And Mechanics

Using the Violet Energy Core activates a temporary "Dominion uplink":

• Grants Night Vision for 30 seconds, letting you see clearly in the Dominion's dark corridors.
• Grants Resistance for 30 seconds, reducing incoming damage — useful for surviving hostile encounters in alien territory.
• Plays an activation sound and displays a violet-tinted chat message confirming the effect is active.

The Core can only be used one at a time (non-stacking) and has a brief windup before the effect triggers, so time your activation before engaging danger rather than in the middle of it.

Progression And Strategy

Start by collecting Violet Energy Conduits to build glowing structures and to craft your first Violet Energy Core. Keep a Core on hand as a defensive tool — activate it before exploring dangerous or dark areas to gain vision and damage resistance. Use Imperial Pavement and Conduits together to build out your own outpost or recreation of the Dominion's megacity architecture, accenting builds with Signal Sprouts for an alien, overgrown-tech atmosphere.
