World Shrinker Ray

Quickstart

After entering a world, the ray’s recipe is unlocked in your recipe book. Craft it at a crafting table:

Hold the ray, aim at a living creature within 24 blocks, and use it (right-click by default). A successful hit shrinks the target; try it on a nearby mob first.

Overview

World Shrinker Ray lets you reduce the size of living creatures while leaving blocks and terrain unchanged.

What It Adds

• World Shrinker Ray: A single-use-at-a-time handheld item for shrinking creatures.

How To Use

Aim at a living target and use the ray. It affects the closest living creature in your line of sight; blocks between you and the target stop the shot. The effect happens immediately, with no projectile to track.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the ray using its recipe, which becomes available in the recipe book after you join a world. It does not stack.

Abilities And Mechanics

Each successful hit halves the target’s size, down to a minimum of 20% of its normal size. The ray has a brief cooldown of 8 ticks (about 0.4 seconds) after a hit.
