Quickstart

1. Craft a Rift Compass from an amethyst shard, an Ender Pearl, and a compass:

1. Build a rectangular Glowstone frame 4 blocks wide and 5 blocks tall, leaving a 2-by-3 empty opening. Hold the Rift Compass and use it on a Glowstone block in the frame to enter Prismwake.
2. Explore the nearby terrain and look for Moonstone Ore and Stariron Ore. Bring a pickaxe to mine them; the ores drop Moonstone Shards and Raw Stariron.
3. Use the Rift Compass while in Prismwake to open its travel menu and choose Return home. You can also use it on a Glowstone frame to leave.

Overview

Prismwake is a survival-accessible dimension with rolling meadows, high ridges, and a submerged ocean region. Its landscape is built from Prismstone, Cloudgrit, Deepstone, and Shoreglass. The Rift Compass is both your way in and out and a useful tool for finding major destinations.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Travel with the Rift Compass: Use it on a Glowstone frame to enter or leave Prismwake. While inside, using the compass opens a menu; choose Return home to travel back to the Overworld spawn.
• Track castles with a Castle Locator Map: Use the map in Prismwake or the Nether to display the distance and direction to that dimension’s castle.
• Find Prismwake ores: Use a Resonant Pickaxe in Prismwake. Its resonance pulse reports nearby Moonstone and Stariron signatures, including their counts and directions.
• Watch for Rift Stalkers: They can teleport and become aggressive when you look at them. A carved pumpkin prevents them from targeting you through their gaze.

Crafting And Obtaining

Moonstone and Stariron Ore are found in Prismwake. Brimstone Ore and Mossiron Ore are found in the Nether; mining these ores yields their respective ingots directly.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Resonant Pickaxe: Use it in Prismwake to scan for Moonstone and Stariron nearby. It shows how many of each ore are in range and gives the direction of the nearest signature.
• Piglin King’s Heart: The Piglin King drops the Heart of the Nether. Use it to open a power menu with options to summon guards, fire a Nether Beam, or launch Wither Skulls. Each power has its own cooldown.
• Godly Pickaxe: The Wonder Dragon drops this powerful tool. Use it on Bedrock to break the block and collect Bedrock.

Progression And Strategy

Explore Prismwake first, then use the Resonant Pickaxe to locate ore and craft a Moonblade or better mining gear. A Castle Locator Map is made with a Rift Compass surrounded by paper; use it in Prismwake to find the Dragon Castle. The Wonder Dragon awaits there and drops the Godly Pickaxe.

For Nether equipment and another boss encounter, gather Brimstone and Mossiron, then use the Castle Locator Map in the Nether to find the Piglin Castle. The Piglin King summons two Wonder Piglin guards when its health falls below half, so prepare for a tougher second phase. Defeating it rewards the Heart of the Nether and a golden axe.
