Description
All four Great Sword abilities are available immediately; no ability leveling is required.
Warden Great Sword adds a powerful sculk weapon with heavy attacks, area abilities, defensive protection, and shield-breaking effects. The Great Sword can also evolve into a Warden Long Sword and a matching Warden Shield through an item-drop ritual.
Only one valid Warden’s Soul can be yielded in a world. Any additional Soul outputs disappear, so use the first Soul carefully.

The sword is non-stackable and can receive sword enchantments. Echo Shards repair it, restoring 15% of its maximum durability per repair.
The Great Sword evolves through a ground ritual:
If your inventory is full, the evolved items appear on the ground nearby.
The Warden Great Sword is a heavy weapon rather than a rapid sword.
An action bar appears while the Great Sword is held, showing heavy-swing recovery and ability cooldowns.

Cooldown: 8 seconds
Control: Use while sneaking.
The sword charges for approximately 0.8 seconds, then targets the first entity in your view within 4 blocks. The hit deals approximately 40 damage, knocks the target back, briefly slows it, and can trigger the sword’s shield-breaking effect.
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Control: Sneak-use while targeting a block.
Warden Stomp sends out two shockwaves centered on you. Each pulse affects entities within 4 blocks, dealing approximately 14 damage and applying Slowness and Mining Fatigue.
The second pulse arrives about 1.5 seconds after the first.
Cooldown: 18 seconds
Control: Use normally while holding the Great Sword.
Echoing Ward protects you for 6 seconds:
Cooldown: 25 seconds
The Warden Long Sword is the evolved weapon’s extended-reach form.
| Control | Ability |
|---|---|
| Use normally | Targeted five-block reach strike |
| Sneak-use | Warden Stance |
| Use while airborne | Fear |
| Sprint-use | Call Pray |
If you are sprinting and airborne, Sprint-use takes priority and activates Call Pray.
Cooldown: 6 seconds
Warden Stance affects entities within 10 blocks. Nearby players are blinded. Entities holding vanilla shields have their shields heavily damaged and are slowed with Mining Fatigue.
Cooldown: 25 seconds
Use while airborne to affect nearby entities within 10 blocks. Fear applies Blindness, Slowness, and Weakness, then knocks affected entities away from you.
Cooldown: 40 seconds
Call Pray searches within 25 blocks for the living entity with the lowest current health and teleports you to it. Nearby entities within 5 blocks of your new location are afflicted with Nausea, Darkness, Blindness, Weakness, and Slowness for 15 seconds.
The Warden Shield can be placed in the off-hand and raised like a normal shield.
The item may appear with the displayed name Warden Great Sword, despite functioning as the Warden Shield.
