Quickstart

1. Gather three Gold Blocks, one Nether Star, and one Blaze Rod.
2. Craft the Wafy Stormhammer at a Crafting Table:

1. Hold the hammer in your main hand — elemental effects activate automatically while you hold it.
2. To throw the hammer, hold and release use (like a trident). It flies forward, strikes lightning and spreads fire on impact, then returns to your inventory automatically.

Overview

The Wafy Stormhammer is a heavy, square-headed warhammer etched with intricate "wafy" engravings. It is an epic-rarity, enchant-glow weapon that combines melee power with elemental devastation — summoning lightning, spreading fire, and unleashing tidal waves of force against nearby mobs. It can also be hurled like a javelin and will always find its way back to its wielder.

Abilities And Mechanics

Melee Hit — Lightning, Fire & Mob Control

Striking a mob with the hammer triggers an elemental burst: a lightning strike hits the target area, fire is set around the impact point, and nearby mobs are subjected to a brief control effect that disrupts them while the hammer is active in your hand.

Tidal Wave — Passive Area Pulse

While you are holding the hammer, it periodically (roughly every 4 seconds) releases a tidal wave of force in a 6-block radius around you, pushing back and damaging nearby mobs. The elemental sound cue plays each time this fires — listen for it so you know when the wave is about to go off.

Throw & Return

Hold and then release the use button to hurl the hammer like a spear. It travels at speed and, after a short flight time (~1.5 seconds), detonates at the landing spot with a lightning bolt and a small ring of fire. The hammer then automatically flies back to you with a whooshing sound, and a copy is placed into your inventory — you are never without it.

• Cooldown: 3.5 seconds between throws.
• Throw power scales with how long you draw before releasing, up to maximum power at 1.5 seconds of draw.

Elemental Sound

Every activation — melee hit, tidal wave, throw, and return — plays a signature warhammer elemental sound so you always know your abilities are firing.

The recipe unlocks automatically once you have a Gold Block, Nether Star, or Blaze Rod in your inventory.

Progression And Strategy

Repairing: The hammer can be repaired at an anvil using Netherite Ingots (390 durability per ingot) or Iron Ingots (195 durability per ingot).

Enchanting: The hammer uses the sword enchantment slot with an enchantability of 10, meaning most sword enchantments — Sharpness, Fire Aspect, Looting, and others — are valid choices.

Combat tips:

• Use the tidal wave passive as crowd control. Group mobs together and let the 4-second pulse do area work between your melee swings.
• Throw at dangerous ranged mobs or tight clusters to ignite them before you close in for melee.
• The hammer always returns, so throwing is effectively free — just mind the 3.5-second throw cooldown.
• Because it never despawns, you won't lose it even if it lands in water or lava before returning.
• Prioritise Netherite Ingots for repairs to stretch durability further in long fights.
