Quickstart

1. Mine Voidite Ore in the Overworld or End with an iron-tier pickaxe or better. Without Silk Touch, it has a 72% chance to drop 1–2 Void Crystals, so gather several.
2. Craft a Stabilized Void Crystal from Void Crystals, Ender Pearls, and Eyes of Ender: . Use it to unlock your personal storage; the crystal is consumed and the storage screen opens.
3. Press V to open your storage. Put Void Crystals or storage upgrades in the Upgrade slot at the upper left. Each Void Crystal adds one storage slot.
4. To make a Void Chest, look at a single normal or trapped chest nearby, then sneak and press V. Its contents move into your storage and the chest becomes a link to your stash. Right-click the Void Chest to open it.

Overview

Void Storage is a personal stash you can open from anywhere with V. Voidite unlocks it and provides crystals to expand its capacity. Upgrades add crafting, smelting, or larger item stacks, while Void Chests provide physical access points to the same storage.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Open storage: Press V. You can change the key in the controls settings.
• Expand storage: Put Void Crystals in the Upgrade slot. Each one adds a slot; the storage begins with 27.
• Apply upgrades: Place a Void Crafting, Void Furnace, or Void Stacking Upgrade in the Upgrade slot. You can also shift-click an upgrade from your inventory.
• Sort items: Use the Sort button. Scroll over the storage grid to view additional rows once you have more than 27 slots.
• Link a chest: Sneak and press V while looking at a nearby single chest or trapped chest. Double chests must be separated first. If your storage cannot fit the chest’s contents, the binding will not go through.
• Use a Void Chest: Right-click it to access its owner’s storage. A Void Chest is a link, not a separate inventory.
• Manage access: The owner can switch between Private and Public in the storage screen. Other players can use a public stash through its Void Chest.

Crafting And Obtaining

Both Voidite ores generate underground in their respective dimensions: Voidite Ore in the Overworld and End Voidite Ore in the End. They require an iron-tier pickaxe or better. With Silk Touch, they drop as ore blocks; otherwise, each has a 72% chance to drop 1–2 Void Crystals.

Craft upgrades using the following recipes:

• Void Crafting Upgrade, made with Void Crystals and a Crafting Table:
• Void Furnace Upgrade, made with Void Crystals, Ender Pearls, and a Furnace:
• Void Stacking Upgrade, made with Void Crystals, Diamond Blocks, and a Netherite Ingot:

Abilities And Mechanics

• Crafting: The Void Crafting Upgrade unlocks a 3×3 grid and recipe book in your storage screen. Recipe-book ingredients can come from your stash and your inventory.
• Smelting: The Void Furnace Upgrade adds an input slot. Smeltable items placed there process without fuel. Turn Smelt ON to automatically smelt eligible ore and raw-material items already in storage; this setting can be left off if you only want to use the input slot.
• Stacking: Each Void Stacking Upgrade doubles the storage stack limit, starting from 64 items per slot. Up to 10 upgrades can be applied.
• Chest access: A linked chest uses the storage owner’s access setting. Public storage can be opened by other players through that chest; private storage is limited to its owner.

Progression And Strategy

Unlock storage with a Stabilized Void Crystal first, then collect extra Void Crystals to add slots. Craft the upgrades that fit your needs: crafting for on-the-go recipes, the furnace for smelting, or stacking upgrades to store more items per slot. Link single chests around your base—or wherever you want convenient access—to the same stash.
