Void Dragon Blade

Quickstart

1. Obtain the blade from the Creative inventory under Equipment, or use: /give @s com_void_dragon_blade_l7xxr26h:my_sword
2. Alternatively, craft it at a crafting table:

1. Equip the Void Dragon Blade in your main hand.
2. Strike a mob or another entity. Each successful hit carves a vertical 3×16-block column through the impact location, clearing blocks from 12 blocks below the target to 3 blocks above it.
3. Use it carefully near builds, caves, and valuable terrain—the cleared blocks are destroyed and may drop their usual items.

Overview

The Void Dragon Blade is a powerful melee weapon that reshapes the world wherever it strikes. In addition to dealing heavy damage, hitting an entity tears a vertical section out of the surrounding terrain, creating an abyss-like shaft centered on the target.

How To Use

Hold the Void Dragon Blade in your main hand and attack normally.

When your attack hits an entity:

• The blade deals its normal melee damage.
• Blocks in a 3×3 area around the target are cleared.
• The cleared area extends from 12 blocks below the target to 3 blocks above it.
• Blocks are destroyed rather than replaced, so the effect can remove terrain and structures and can produce block drops.

The effect activates on entity hits only. Swinging at empty space does not carve the terrain.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Void Dragon Blade can be crafted at a crafting table using:

• 2 Dragon Eggs
• 3 Ender Eyes
• 1 Netherite Ingot
• 1 Stick

The recipe unlocks when the required ingredients are available. In Creative mode, it can also be selected directly from the Equipment category or obtained with the /give command shown in the Quickstart.

Abilities And Mechanics

Abyss Carving

The blade’s signature ability is triggered automatically whenever an entity is struck. It removes a vertical column centered on the impact point, making it useful for:

• Opening deep shafts
• Clearing terrain around enemies
• Creating dramatic arenas or pits
• Excavating large sections of ground while fighting

Because the effect reaches above and below the target, avoid using it close to houses, farms, redstone builds, or other structures you want to preserve.

Durability And Enchanting

The Void Dragon Blade has 2,031 durability and can receive sword enchantments. Its enchantability value is 15, allowing it to be enchanted through normal Minecraft systems that support sword enchantments.

Progression And Strategy

Craft the blade once you have access to Dragon Eggs, Ender Eyes, and a Netherite Ingot. Test it in an open area before using it in a base or underground build.

For safer combat:

• Fight enemies away from important structures.
• Stand where a vertical shaft will not expose hazards or damage nearby builds.
• Use the blade’s terrain-clearing effect to control the battlefield.
• Keep a backup weapon for situations where carving the surrounding area would be dangerous.
