Description
The Vital Aid Kit is a special medical tool that lets you see and restore the health of nearby mobs. While holding it in either hand, floating health bars will appear above all living creatures within 24 blocks, color-coded from green (healthy) to red (critically low). Right-click directly on any mob, whether a friendly animal, villager, or even a hostile creature, to instantly restore it to full health. A burst of heart particles and a chime will confirm a successful heal. The kit has 16 uses before it breaks, so use it wisely!

Overview
The Vital Aid Kit is a single-use medical tool that gives you two superpowers at once: the ability to see the health of every nearby living creature, and the ability to fully restore that health with a right-click. It works on any living entity — passive animals, villagers, and even hostile mobs. The kit has 16 uses before it breaks, so a little planning goes a long way.

The kit has an enchantment glint, making it easy to spot in your inventory. It is found in the Tools creative tab.
How To Use
Viewing Health Bars
Simply hold the Vital Aid Kit in your main hand or off-hand. Floating health labels appear above every living entity within 24 blocks, formatted as current / max HP. The color of each label reflects the mob's condition:

Put the kit away and the labels disappear immediately.
Healing a Mob
Right-click on any living entity while holding the kit. If the target is injured:
- Its health is set to the maximum instantly.
- Heart particles burst around the mob.
- A chime plays at the mob's location.
- A green confirmation message appears in your action bar.
- The kit loses 1 durability.
If the target is already at full health, nothing happens and no durability is consumed.
Crafting And Obtaining
The recipe is unlocked automatically when you join a world.
The kit is crafted from Sugar, White Wool, and a Glistering Melon Slice — fitting ingredients for a medicinal tool.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Range: Health bars are visible for all living entities within 24 blocks of you.
- Targets: Any
LivingEntity— animals, monsters, villagers, and more. - Heal effect: Instantly sets the target to its full maximum health, regardless of how much health is missing.
- Durability cost: 1 use per successful heal. The kit breaks after 16 heals.
- No effect on full-health mobs: Right-clicking a healthy mob gives a yellow warning message and wastes no durability.
Progression And Strategy
- Save uses for high-value mobs. Healing a rare horse or a villager is more valuable than topping off a chicken.
- Off-hand monitoring. Keep the kit in your off-hand to passively watch health bars without giving up your main-hand weapon or tool.
- Hostile mob healing is real. You can heal a hostile mob, so be careful not to accidentally right-click an enemy during combat.
- Stock up. Each kit gives exactly 16 heals. Craft several before a long expedition to keep your animal companions and villagers in top shape.
