Description
Viper's Fang is a Netherite-tier sword wreathed in a constant toxic green aura. It functions as a powerful melee weapon that passively protects its wielder from Poison and Hunger while spreading those same afflictions to every enemy it touches. Three distinct right-click abilities give it a versatile, aggressive playstyle suited to both single-target duels and crowd control.
A single item: Viper's Fang — a darkened-steel Netherite sword found in the Combat creative tab. It is tagged as a sword and benefits from all relevant enchantments and game mechanics that apply to swords.
While held in the main hand or off-hand, Viper's Fang grants complete immunity to Poison and Hunger. A constant toxic green particle aura radiates from the blade. Every melee hit inflicts Poison I for 5 seconds on the target.
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Fire a cone of acidic venom up to 8 blocks forward. Enemies caught in the cone take magic damage and receive Poison II and Slowness I for 6 seconds. The ability produces layered cone and edge visual effects with bright venom dust so the spread of acid is clearly visible.
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Lunge 8 blocks in the direction you are facing. Any enemies along the dash path are struck with Poison III for 4 seconds. Fang-like particle trails streak behind you as you dash, making every charge look lethal.
Cooldown: 50 seconds
Slam down to unleash a massive 20-block radius poison cloud centred on your position. The cloud persists for 5 seconds, repeatedly applying Blindness, Poison IV, and Hunger to all non-player living entities within range every second. A dramatic pulsing miasma of green venom dust, dark toxic smoke, and witch-magic fumes fills the area, making it one of the most visually imposing abilities in the game.
Tip: The Toxic Miasma does not affect the wielder — your Poison and Hunger immunity keeps you safe inside your own cloud.
