Quickstart

• Explore new areas to find larger-than-normal villages enclosed by walls. Guard villagers live in these villages.
• Leave the villagers and their buildings alone: attacking a guard or breaking village walls or houses can make the guards attack you.
• To place a village yourself, get the Village Wallkeepers Wand and its projectile ammunition. In Creative, look in Equipment for the wand; if needed, use:
  • /give @s com_village_wallkeepers_iirtid72:structure_wand
  • /give @s com_village_wallkeepers_iirtid72:wand_projectile_item
• Keep the projectile item in your inventory, equip the wand, and use it while aiming at a clear area. The projectile places a large village structure where it lands, so leave plenty of room.

Overview

Village Wallkeepers centers on oversized, walled villages and the guards who protect them. You can discover villages while exploring or use the wand to place a village structure yourself.

What It Adds

• Larger-than-normal villages with protective walls.
• Guard villagers who attack players that attack them or damage village walls and houses.
• A Village Wallkeepers Wand that launches a projectile to place a large village structure.

How To Use

The wand uses Village Wallkeepers Wand Projectile ammunition from your inventory or offhand. Aim at a clear, open area and use the wand; the structure is placed when the projectile hits. Avoid aiming into existing builds, since the village takes up a broad area.

Crafting And Obtaining

No crafting recipes are available for the wand or its ammunition. Find the wand in Creative’s Equipment category, or use the /give commands in Quickstart to obtain either item.

Abilities And Mechanics

Guards retaliate if you attack them or break their village’s walls or houses. Avoid damaging the settlement if you want to explore without provoking them.

Progression And Strategy

Explore villages without damaging them, and keep clear space around any site where you use the wand. If guards become hostile, leave the village rather than continuing to attack its residents or buildings.
