Velocity Trail Suit

Quickstart

1. Craft a complete matching Velocity suit—helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots—in any one of the five colors listed under Crafting and Obtaining.
2. Craft a [Trail Calibrator](), hold it, and use it to open the settings. Choose a speed level and trail color, then select Save.
3. Equip all four pieces of the same-color suit and start running. Your speed boost and particle trail activate while you move.

Overview

Velocity Trail Suit is a wearable speed set with adjustable speed levels and a customizable particle trail. Its speed powers require the full four-piece set in a single color; mixing pieces does not activate them.

What It Adds

• Five complete armor sets: blue, crimson, emerald, amber, and violet.
• The Trail Calibrator, which lets you choose your speed and trail appearance.
• Three additional tools: the Velocity Dash Baton, Velocity Pulse Blaster, and two chronal devices—the Chronometer and Chrono Rift Projector.

How To Use

Use the Trail Calibrator to open Velocity Settings. Select a speed from Speed I to Speed XIII, pick a trail, and save. While wearing a complete matching suit, the selected speed effect applies and a trail appears behind you as you run.

The standard trail choices are Cyan, Blue, Purple, Green, Red, Gold, White, Pink, Orange, Teal, Lime, Magenta, Silver, Aurora, Spectrum, Rose Quartz, Ocean, Electric, and Prism.

All recipes below are made at a crafting table. Recipe icons open the full recipe when selected.

Abilities and Mechanics

• Velocity Dash Baton: Use it to dash in the direction you are facing. Nearby creatures ahead can take damage and be knocked back.
• Velocity Pulse Blaster: Carry its magazines in your inventory or offhand, aim at a target, and hold the use control to fire a beam. It can hit targets up to 36 blocks away; firing stops when you release the item.
• Velocity Chronometer: While Infinite Speed is active, use the Chronometer to return to a recently recorded position in your current dimension.
• Chrono Rift Projector: While Infinite Speed is active, use it once to mark a location, then use it again at a second location in the same dimension, at least six blocks away. With both points set, use the projector while within five blocks of either marker to travel to the other.

Progression and Strategy

To unlock Infinite Speed, wear a complete matching suit, select Speed XIII, and keep running continuously for 30 seconds. Stopping or changing speed before it unlocks resets the running progress. Once unlocked, Infinite Speed and an Infinite — Violet + Pink trail become selectable in the Trail Calibrator.

The Chronometer and Chrono Rift Projector only work while Infinite Speed is active. The Chronometer’s recorded history covers several recent seconds, so use it soon after the position you want to revisit.
