Quickstart

1. Craft the Vanta Bomber item at a crafting table using the recipe below, then hold it in your hand.
2. Use (right-click / tap) the item on the ground to spawn the bomber.
3. Interact with the craft to mount it (same as riding a horse).
4. Hold forward to ignite the engines and accelerate — you'll hear a dramatic rocket liftoff sound.
5. Use jump (ascend) and sneak (descend) to control altitude.
6. Turn your camera left or right to steer — the nose follows your view.
7. Press attack while mounted to drop a bomb beneath the craft.
8. Sneak to dismount.

Overview

The Vanta Bomber is a rideable, player-controlled stealth flying-wing aircraft. Its low-profile triangular body is finished in Vanta-black with neon blue edge accents and orange/red engine details. It plays a dramatic rocket liftoff sound on takeoff and sustains a continuous engine roar during flight. The bomber carries a single pilot and is built for high-speed aerial assaults and precision bombing runs.

How To Use

Mounting & Dismounting

Walk up to the spawned bomber and press Interact to mount it. Press Sneak at any time to dismount cleanly. Your speed state resets on dismount, so the craft is stationary and ready for the next pilot.

Flight Controls

Steering

The bomber's nose continuously rotates to match where your camera is pointing. Small camera adjustments immediately curve the flight path. Turning feels heavy but responsive — forward thrust always follows the nose direction, so you visibly fly where you're looking.

Bombing

Pressing Attack while airborne drops a primed TNT directly beneath the aircraft. Each bombing run triggers a cluster detonation equivalent to roughly 3× the power of vanilla TNT. There is a ~2-second cooldown between drops, giving each strike a weighty, deliberate feel. Plan your bombing runs carefully — the blast radius is significant.

The recipe requires an Elytra, a Netherite Ingot, TNT, Obsidian, Diamonds, and Gunpowder — reflecting the bomber's high-end, destructive nature. Only one Vanta Bomber item is produced per craft.

Abilities And Mechanics

• High-Speed Flight: Top sustained speed of 30 blocks/sec, reached in about 0.85 seconds of holding forward.
• Glide Momentum: Releasing forward does not stop the craft instantly. It carries forward with elytra-like momentum that fades over roughly 2.5 seconds.
• Camera Yaw Steering: The craft nose tracks your camera's horizontal rotation smoothly, even while hovering or moving slowly. No strafe keys are needed to turn.
• Bombing: Each attack drops primed TNT at the underbelly. A ring of additional charges detonates in a cluster for a devastating ~3× vanilla TNT radius blast.
• Engine Sounds: A loud rocket liftoff sound plays on acceleration; a continuous cruise sound plays during sustained flight.
• Durability: The bomber entity has 40 HP and can be damaged.

Progression And Strategy

• Obtain early materials first. The recipe demands Netherite and an Elytra, making the Vanta Bomber a late-game vehicle. Reach the End for the Elytra and progress through the Nether for Netherite before attempting the craft.
• Altitude is your friend. Gain height before beginning a bombing pass so you have time to aim and escape the blast radius before detonation.
• Use camera steering for precision. Gentle camera movements curve the flight path smoothly — sharp turns are possible but require anticipating the heavy momentum.
• Manage the cooldown. With a ~2-second delay between bombs, plan multiple targets along your flight path rather than circling back for each one.
• Protect your bomber. At 40 HP the craft can be destroyed by enemy fire or its own blast — avoid flying too low when bombing.
