Description:

The Underground Sun is a massive glowing orb you can place in caves and underground builds to banish darkness entirely. It assembles into a multi-block decorative structure, emits the maximum possible block light level from its core, and fills the surrounding area with an invisible light field — all without torches, lanterns, or any other setup. Players standing nearby also receive a passive visual enhancement effect, making exploration feel bright and safe the moment the orb goes down.

| Underground Sun | A placeable item that builds a large glowing orb multiblock structure wherever you place it |
The orb is purely a player-placed decoration with powerful built-in lighting mechanics. There are no mobs, dimensions, or other new items introduced.
Placement: Simply use the Underground Sun item on any flat surface. The single placement block is replaced immediately by the full multiblock orb, oriented automatically to match the direction you are facing. The orb spans several blocks in every direction, so make sure there is enough open space around and above the placement point.
Lighting: Once placed, the orb:
Player Effect: Any player within roughly 32 blocks of the orb receives a passive glow/night-vision-style effect that refreshes rapidly. This keeps vision bright and stable as long as you remain near the orb, with no potions or equipment needed.
Removal: Each block segment of the orb can be broken individually by mining (takes about 1.5 seconds per segment). The orb has no explosion resistance, so explosions will also remove it quickly.
Craft the Underground Sun at a crafting table using the following materials:
| Ingredient | Role |
|---|---|
| Soul Torch | Corner elements |
| Glowstone | Edge/support elements |
| Calibrated Sculk Sensor | Corner accents |
| Lava Bucket | Central core |
The recipe yields 1 Underground Sun item.
When placed, the Underground Sun automatically constructs a large 3D orb made of many individual block segments, oriented to face the direction you placed it (north, south, east, or west). The structure uses multiple layers and columns to create the appearance of a spherical sun hanging in your cave.
The master/core blocks of the orb emit light level 15 directly. In addition, the orb actively fills the air around it with invisible level-15 light blocks, creating a broad, even illumination field across the cave. This means there are no dark patches or shadowed corners near the orb — the entire area is lit as brightly as open daylight.
Players within approximately 32 blocks of the orb continuously receive a vision-enhancing effect (similar to night vision). The effect refreshes every 10 ticks, so it stays active consistently without interruption as long as you remain in range. No action is needed — simply being near the orb is enough.

This mod adds a suite of explosive and utility items: one‑use Nuke and Stab Shot rods (right‑click to cast), a reusable dual‑mode Orbital Remote, a one‑use Teleport Rod, a one‑use Wolf Command Rod, a one‑use Wolf Cleanup Rod, and the Orbital Railgun. The Stab Shot carves a full 12‑block‑wide shaft down to bedrock and is lethal to anything inside (an offhand Totem will be consumed instead of death); the Teleport Rod launches you up to 300 blocks and then breaks; the Wolf Command spawns 100 combat‑buffed tamed wolves and the Cleanup rod removes them. The Orbital Remote is handheld — right‑click to call strikes, sneak + right‑click to cycle modes (you must use it again to actually fire after switching), and hitting a target in Stab mode locks them for the next strike; all special activations share a short 0.5‑second cooldown. The Orbital Railgun is used like a bow (hold and release) to fire its tightly stacked high‑speed volley, but now requires a full stack of 64 arrows to activate (it will not fire without one) and causes a fatal backlash to the user unless you have two Totems in your offhand, in which case both are consumed and you survive.

Spellstorm Grimoire is a mystical book that gives you a huge arsenal of castable spells — lightning, fireball (and huge fireball), water surge, a visible black hole vortex, earth pillar, deflect, light, heavy, time stop, gravity, a floating sword attack, high velocity, heal, shield, teleport (recharging charges), freeze, an instant explosion, Domain Expansion, Zoltraak, and six devastating ultimates including Atomic, Meteor Swarm, Annihilation Halo, Time Erasure, Divine Chains, and World Rend. Controls are simple: Sneak + Use opens the spell picker (sorted by power), Use fires or shoots the selected spell at range (or places/aims terrain-targeted effects when used on a block), and self-only spells (Deflect, High Velocity, Heal, Domain Expansion and ultimates) activate immediately; Teleport recharges automatically and Domain Expansion creates a sealed arena that traps and damages foes. The Atomic ultimate has been made far more cinematic and destructive — selecting Atomic from the picker and using it while standing clear starts a brief camera zoom and purple charge beam, then detonates in a much larger purple blast with expanding shock-rings (now reaching roughly 48 blocks), a stronger bedrock-scouring core, and a taller, longer-lasting purple pillar; it has a 5 Minecraft day cooldown and will display “Atomic is recharging…” if used too soon.

The X-Ray Device scans a 15‑block horizontal radius (Y -64 to Y 16) for diamond_ore and deepslate_diamond_ore and then opens a simple UI listing exact x y z coordinates for every ore found (no blocks are changed), finishing with a subtle glass sound. Equip the X‑Ray Device and use it (right‑click / tap‑and‑hold) to start a scan; the device is unbreakable and enforces a 30‑second cooldown — if used too early it shows the remaining time in seconds (e.g., “0m 22s”). Make sure both the resource and behavior packs are enabled with the resource pack loaded above the behavior pack before using the device.

Tunnel Crawler Pickaxe is a diamond pickaxe enchanted to bore a 5 × 4 tunnel 15 long whenever you break a block with the pickaxe. Simply break any block to unleash its magic and carve a ready-to-ride corridor through solid rock. It automatically lays a stone floor with a minecart track down the center. Makes walls and roof with glass and glowstone every five blocks for perfect lighting.
Copperstrike Longshot — a black, scoped sniper rifle with suppressor, extended stock and a 6-round detachable magazine that fires high-velocity Copperstrike Bullets (craftable from iron + copper); headshots or critical hits instantly kill while body shots deal about half damage. Hold the use button to enter a spyglass-style scoped aim (movement is slowed while scoped) and release the use/attack to fire — the rifle only shoots on release. New rifles start with an empty magazine; keep Copperstrike Bullets in your inventory to reload (consumes up to six bullets to fill the magazine) and the weapon will not reload or fire without the special ammo.
